Summary: Okay okay ... You can get this from several Z-shops sellers, starting at $438 (as of 12-26-03). There are some small errors in the description, which you may clear up for yourself at the Fujifilm.com site. But compare this to the S5000, which you can get new, here, for about $340.
Great for the price... problem is where the price is...

Summary: Honestly, if you can get past the three problems I have with this camera, go out and buy it!! I have taken almost 6,000 pictures in less than a month- it's one of the best! But I have a couple complaints. First, is that it's too slow for it's "class".
Summary: Pictures are v good in good lighting conditions - but its a real fiddle to get best quality using some of the programmes. My original S902Z (from 9 years ago) still produces the best quality of any camera of this type I've ever had
Excerpt: I bought this camera around 2 months ago, as it was quite cheap and I was looking for a entry level DSLR, but as this camera does not have interchangeable lenses it can not be classed as a DSLR, It is also quite an old camera which means it doesn't have as many functions as other cameras but it has...
Pros: Cheap, Easy to Use
Cons: Low picture quality, Not many functions, Old
Excerpt: The Fuji Finepix S602 Zoom is a Camera beyond comparison. As a owner for 4 years, I have personally taken this camera to places the manufacturer never intended for it to go, and it has survived.
Excerpt: I have been using the Fuji Finepix for about 2 years now having taken thousands of photos during that time so the following is based on substantial experience of using this camera. When purchased this camera was supplied with nothing more than the camera, some standard batteries, a 16mb memory card,...
Pros: Picture Quality, Feature Rich, Easy to Use, Versatile
Cons: Eats standard batteries, No charger or extras included
Summary: I bought one of these two years ago, when 3 mega-pixels was 'high'. Believe me, Fuji's version of 3 Mega pixels is OUTSTANDING, equating with todays 6 mega pixel cameras, because the technology is so much more advanced.
Excerpt: This is an excellent digital camera for the serious amateur or semi-pro photographer, espcially if you are interested in macro photography. With two macro settings its possible to close in to 1cm. This means you can get dramatic close-ups of flowers or other objects.
Pros: Excellent Macro facility
Cons: Takes time to warm up and to save high resolution images to memory card .
Summary: I bought one of these as my first digital camera and although it was to replace a film SLR I was not willing to pay digital SLR prices. The 602 is a great camera and gives very good results, sharp pictures, good colour, and it is easy to use. The macro is very good.
