Summary: Bought this camera for a relation who saw the 5700 model i had bought for myself a year earlier. Like me she is not a camera buff, just wants something reliable, works well does what it says on the box and doesn't eat batteries. If this is what you want this camera could be for you. The price from supplier was good, dispatch was quick, secure and well packed.
Summary: There was a gap in my digital camera inventory for a superzoom camera. I now use this camera at the beach taking pictures of my windsurfing mates. OK so you do not get great image stabilisation (as with Canon)but then I only paid £90 for it from Currys (currently much cheaper than Amazon). I use with a tripod on high zoom range in any case.
Summary: Have really loved using this camera. Even I can manage to use the basic operations, and when time permits, I am going to look at using the finer options. Easy to use. Great that it take rechargeable batteries.
Summary: I was attracted to this camera because of the lens and after seeing the results from my brothers 5600. Best bits - great lens, wide range of settings but also very easy to use, accepts filters, long battery life, SD card compatible and the price. Downside - too big to fit into your pocket and struggles a bit in low light conditions (but no worse than any other camera I've used in this price range). Overall - very pleased.
Summary: I ordered the camera a week ago and it arrived quickly. Great camera for those looking for a step up from a point and shoot regular digital. Easy to use and set up, lightweight and easy to hold versus many others in the same category. I would recommend this camera to someone who is looking for for more than the traditional store camera but who is a novice at serious photography. A perfect starter camera for users looking to learn a bit more about photography.
