Summary: What else can i say, for the price and the period that it came out this is a fantastic camera, if you're looking for a cheap simple macro camera this thing is awesome for it as it has a very good macro settings. It does have video which is 420P not the best in this day and age but can come in use. The camera is small and light weight and is very easy to use. I highly recommend buying rechargeable battery's for it and a simple 8gb card will do fine.
Summary: Bought this camera for a relation who saw the 5700 model i had bought for myself a year earlier. Like me she is not a camera buff, just wants something reliable, works well does what it says on the box and doesn't eat batteries. If this is what you want this camera could be for you. The price from supplier was good, dispatch was quick, secure and well packed.
Summary: I have had 3 problems in 5 months with this camera. 1. SD card got stuck in the camera. It had to be sent back to Fuji to sort out. 2. The flash has stopped working and does not popup like it is supposed to 3. Random problem - The "zoom in" and "turn off" button seems to occasionally get muddled up and switch functions. When this happens the camera gets hot on the bottom and needs time to cool down before it starts working properly again.
Summary: I've had my camera for 7 months and it is very good value for money. It has many features and modes to choose from, and a friend who is a professional photographer told me it is virtually as good as a DSLR camera! A couple of tips I'd like to pass on are:- 1)Be prepared for delay of a second or two before you can take a photo when you switch camera modes. This is because a message appears on the LCD screen to tell you what you've set.
