Summary: Camera itself is fine and takes pictures according to my expectatations. However i was disappointed by the following shortcomings: 1) No owner's manual included (this is a normally supplied for all all technical purchases).
Summary: I purchased this camera taking product pictures to be used on eBay. Its a good camera for the price. My only complaints about it is that the SD card slot is in the battery compartment underneath the camera and if you use a tripod you have to remove the tripod mount to get at the SD card.
Summary: I bought this camera as a point-and-shoot with a 30X zoom lens. It has manual settings that might be able to overcome some of the short comings, but for a point-and-shoot I didn't want to have to take the time to find just the right settings and miss the perfect shot.
Summary: This takes good pics it is a good starter camera, wish the resolution was higher but I guess that comes with more pixels. Probably will just be our everyday camera nothing to fancy. Very tiny tripod about 4 inches tall.
Summary: The FujiFilm FinePix S4500 is a great bridge for its price. It is a 14MP Bridge with a 24mm lens and a 30x zoom. It offers amazing zoom and stability when taking a photo from zoom. It does not do to good on recording videos as you can see in my Assassin's Creed 3 Limited Edition Unboxing Video.
Summary: I wish they would just put a manual zoom on it.
Pros: Easy to use, lots of features. The only thing wrong I found is an inability to focus at high zoom. The HD video is nice and I'm glad the zoom works with it. The S1000FD I have lacked this.
Cons: Does not seem to be able to focus when close to or at maximum zoom. It will get close but then a red AF! come on the screen. I tried over and over but it just won't focus correctly. At lower zoom it does fine.
Summary: When i got the camera i loved it right out of the box! It was great quality photos and I loved all the settings! Then i tried to use the flash and it wouldn't work! Even in a completely dark room on forced flash!
Summary: I bought this to replace my Finepix S7000 which has served me very well since it was bought in 2005 but was beginning to play up a bit and I was worried about it failing completely on me -I use my camera for work and rely heavily on it.
