Summary: For the price this camera is a real value... "Manual White Balance" Option works fast a well... Shooting in A "Aperture Priority" is the way to go... The M "Manual" is what I often use however I found the "A" setting is a nice choice for this camera... Over all performance is good... The camera felt a bit sluggish when snapping a shot, however with practice it performs well.

Summary: Great optical zoom that allows you to take far away shots with clarity and 14mp gives you great clarity and quality of shots. Battery life is pretty solid and the flash is bright enough to be effective in doors. Panorama shots come out great and the weight/size of the camera is much better than carrying around a DSLR. This is a great camera for someone who wants quality shots on vacation without risking their more expensive DSLR camera.
Summary: I bought this camera a couple of months ago and I gotta say, it's pretty darn good. The pictures are great and this camera is fairly easy to figure out and use. The Panorama function of the camera is awesome! The only drawback I have to give this camera is the length of the HD videos, which is 9 mins 44 seconds on any SD card that has a capacity of 2 GB or more. I stuck in a 16GB card and it still only gave 9 mins 44 secs.
Summary: Bought this camera thinking that it would be a good low priced camera. The camera seemed to work good for the first few months and then I needed the flash and found it did not work. I sent in the camera in for repair to a repair center listed by Fuji they agreed the camera flash was not working and sent the camera to Fuji for repair. This was over two months ago and now nobody knows where the camera is. I hope it will show up someday.
Replacing the old camea with the latest was an easy chore!

Summary: The camera was bought as a gift for my wife. She has been using a previous model of the Finepix cameras, and was having a minor problem with it. The new one fits right into her plans and required very little relearning to use. The features of this camera far exceed the older version. She was taking great pictures within minutes, but still has a lot of features that she has yet to learn. Many times since she opened it, she has yelled, "Look at this!.
Summary: I haven't used it much yet, but so far I'm pleased. The picture quality is excellent and I love the mini LCD in the view finder since the larger LCD on the back gets washed out in sunlight. The manual options seem fine and much better than my old Nikon L120. The menu isn't quite as user friendly though. Still, a great buy and a top quality bridge camera.
