Good "GO-BETWEEN"

ERG, Amazon
12 August 2013
  • Summary: Looking for a SLR-D but a little pricy? S3200 fits in this niche!! Eye level viewer or LCD screen!! Bright sunny days make critical photography on any LCD screen a problem!! Camera has a list of features you want in a SLR-D not to mention a lens quality above average but with Wide-Angle to Max Tele very impressive!!!! You won't need an interchangeable lens......

  • Excerpt: I have to admit, my other camera was a Canon which I purchased in 2007 for 399.97 and it is still working but technology and demands, plus pricing made me switch over to Fuji, at first glance, I loved the camera, only a couple of little annoyances, the battery flap is hard to open and close, maybe more practice will make it better.  The zoom, is one of those things that I cannot do without, being an avid birdwatcher, I needed a camera that would go further than my Canon.

  • Summary: I enjoyed the powerful optical zoom. However, for the price(at the time) I would expect better quality pictures, especially indoor.

Great camera if you can figure out how to use the features!

laugh4sanity, Ebay

  • Summary: I bought this camera as I need to do a lot of close up pictures for my ebay pictures and I needed something with better quality and clarity. This camera offers those things if you can figure out which setting you need to use. I found that the instruction manual was very vague and short on the features, I am not a professional I need to know how to use the camera! Other than that the camera is much better than my cannon and the picture quality overall I am happy with.

great camera for dummies like me

Judith A Bryson, Amazon
25 July 2012
  • Summary: Easy to use - even I didn't have trouble - now if they just put an arm on cameras to stop PEOPLE from walking in front of me when I'm taking a movie or picture. I also wish I could plug it in instead of battery only. The cover on the batteries looks like a future problem..not fast to open/close.

excellent value - durable product

georgedelnorte, Amazon
26 March 2012
  • Summary: The S-3200 has all the features you would expect from a camera priced much higher. Features are easy to use and logical. All settings are made with buttons and a wheel rather than touch screen (touch screen can be difficult in bright sun). Both optical and digital telephoto are excellent. Macro is supurb. Because the camera uses AA bateries, it is a bit heavier than other brands that have small - often hard to find - camera batteries.
