Summary: I've now had this camera for several months. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. I have taken many excellent pictures. The battery life seems very good (I'm using rechargeable batteries). I love having the viewfinder option and using basic AA batteries (two of my main reasons for choosing this camera over others) The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the auto mode doesn't always produce the same quality of photos as the point-and-shoot I owned before this.
Never trust a Hermes courier - avoid this seller until you can trust the delivery method

Summary: This was delivered by Hermes courier Port 93, Van 85, Drop 44. C-round 546. It was thrown over a 6 foot gate and left in the rain to soak through and get covered in slugs. The "sorry I missed you" card is completely illegible. Now photos are precious memories - would you ever trust a camera treated that way? --- of course not! I dont' know if this camera is good or not - I am returning damp, decaying, slug-covered box to Amazon as I can never trust it.
Summary: We bought this camera and the matching SD card, it was 1 month old and we took it to disneyland. On the last day of our holiday we lost all our images. We sent it to Fuji image recovery who cannot recover anything on it. I am so cross as are my 2 children. They said their product has some software bugs..... don't get in the same situation as me don't buy this product. I am not letting this rest here either.
Summary: I had this camera 3 days when an error message came up. Unfortunately I was on hols and took it to a camera shop who informed me it would cost more to repair than i paid for it. Also on my return from reavelling I am unable to return to Amazon as 30 day warrenty has expired!!! So I have no holiday photos now, out of pocket by £100 and have to try get my money back from the supplier . Think twice !!
Summary: i bought this camera as a replacement for my broken finepix 600 ,i wish i hadnt the pictures are terrible no matter what settings i tried,they are worse than a cheap mobile phone .this camera is going back for a refund
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!!!!! I bought mine, use it 2-3 times, and without any impact damages, the camera told me to restart, and restart... The lens was jammed. I contact pixio for replacement, but they told me to send it to fujifilm for repair. I sent it, they said "the camera suffered impact damage" and ask me to pay £55 for the repair works (the warranty doesn't cover the damage), which is half of the price of new one...
Summary: I ordered this for my Daughter for Christmas it lasted for 4 Photos and the owners manual now says that it needs to be replaced . What a load of junk my 14 year old Daughters Christmas is ruined thanks a lot .

Summary: Sadly not allowed to give no stars as the camera appears to suffer from a design fault in that it takes one or two pictures and then the zoom fails/jams... Reading other reviews, which I wish I d done more thoroughly prior to purchase, this seems to be a common failing. Ah well we get to send it back tomorrow.....
