Not as great as the older model

Summary: I bought this camera thinking that it would be better than my older model. I was shocked! A horrible winding noise recorded with my video. Using the zoom function and you get a winding moter noise thats recorded in the video. I was ashamed to show anyone the videos. E-mailed FujiFilm and the rep told me that it was the nature of the camera "sorry". The older model does not have that noise and now I miss it! I'm so disappointed and I hate my camera.
Summary: Yes this camera has a big zoom, 18x. Yes it is 14 Mega Pixels. Yes it looks like a dSLR. But that's where you should stop looking at this camera like judging a book by its cover! It has very poor low light capabilities. Have you ever heard of 'blue rain'? The cameras lack of low light sensitivity has it compensating to make the picture brighter, but that results in a lot of blue on the screen.
Summary: Having had a Fujifilm S5000 camera and finding no fault with it at all, we decided to buy the Fujifilm S2800HD. NOT a good idea! The set of batteries that came with the camera did not last long. Since I was setting up the camera with time and date and just folling around with it, that waas no surprise. But the second set of batteries only lasted for 16, yes I said 16 pictures! I did not take any movies with it. Just snap shots.
Summary: I am a knowledgeable photographer and own A nikon D300S and a Nikon D90 with a variety of lenses..I wanted something light to beat around the bush with and take pictures, when carrying the Nikons would not be practicable...I owned a Fuji camera before and it took fair pictures for what it was and that was only a 5 megapixel camera... This new one with 14 megapixels is real real dissapointing when it comes to picture quality..
Summary: This is the 4th Fuji Finepix S series camera I've purchased. My S1000 only needed to be replaced due to a chipped lense. I spent a month looking at different cameras, DSLRs, and decided to wait out this new camera due to the success that i've had with the others. I'm a point and shoot amateur photographer, and this camera line has made me look like quite the pro. My camera goes everywhere with me, hiking, and packpacking, road trips... everywhere.
Summary: I've been a fan of Fujifilm cameras for a few years now. I wanted a compact cam with an electronic view finder since I NEVER use the LCD screen. I take photos the old fashioned way, with the camera braced up to my eye so that I can see through the lens and support the camera at the same time for nice steady shots. This also allows me to shoot with out my reading glasses. Well this EVF does NOT have a diopter adjustment resulting in blurry image through the EVF.
Summary: This has to be the second worst item I have bought from Amazon. poor quality poor workmanship I was totally disappointed fuji needs to quit makin cameras. I can go on to complain about this item but I will not. this product is not worth the money they're asking 4 trust me just go get a canon or nikon.
Summary: I was really excited to see a camera with specs like this for such a great price. This is where the excitement ended. The camera was such poor quality all round. The zoom function makes it impossible to see anything on the LCD screen and the actual photo where worse than my 5mp point and shoot. I am hoping that this was just a "dud" and of course I sent it straight back after seeing the results in the first few minutes of opening.
Cons: Automata mód rosszul teljesít, Video felvételeknél elszál a fókusz amikor ő akarja, Beltéren és gyenge fényviszonyok mellet használhatatlan ( foto életlen, és zajos ), Nem lát USB hattértárként ( Legalabbis nekem ez hátrány )
