Summary: this is a great camera with many useful features. It has a great image stabilizer, super good macro mode. large lens with great optical zoom makes for an easy to use camera. Also has a panoramic mode where you can stitch three pictures together. Very easy to use controls and menus. You can choose to turn the lcd screen off and use the viewfinder to save battery life while shooting. Great all around camera for a beginner to advanced photographer.
Summary: I have only owned this camera a short time but really like the picture quality and the huge optical zoom...which is great for bird pictures. I'm still learning how to use it but it does a great job as a point and shoot until I get better at using my own settings.
Summary: Cameras awesome works great and is pretty much new! As far as picture quality It really is the camera person handling ; you really got to mess with it but handy and easy to use ! Zoom quality is by far the best feature! I love it perfect for far away adventure seeking. Shipping fast just bummed I didn't get the 2gb memory card like advertised.
Summary: Easy to use out of the box. Uses common AA batteries, alkaline or rechargeable, photos and videos are great in high or normal light. Not so good in low light but flash makes them OK even if the do not look to good in the viewer before hand. Zoom is greatt for photos but is noisy with video. Auto focus is great but noisy with video. Other than video noise as stated this is a great camera for the price.
Summary: The camera is great to take pictures, use soft manual mode. The AF is slow but accurate. IF YOU WANT TO SHOOT HD MOVIES FORGET THIS CAMERA Makes a noise from the AF (Can't be turned off) that gets recorded as an annoying sound on the background.
Summary: I use a camera for video as much as for still images. Much good: image quality, color, digital viewfinder, LCD monitor, organization of menus/features Missed the mark: poor audio quality (microphone/ambient noise) when recording video (unusable -- requires external recording source) video resolution: 640 x 480 (I had hoped for higher definition) video limit = 2GB/clip, even with a 16GB memory chip I ended up locating a used replacement for my faulty Fujifilm E550, which...
