I love my Fuji S2000!!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I have 3 children who I love to photograph! You rarely see me without my camera. I really love my Fuji S2000! It takes wonderful photos, whether they are posed photographs, or action sports shots. It is easy to use, and it isn't too big. The camera is pretty simple to use and the settings are easy to get to. It comes with an on-line owners manuel and photo software so that you can edit your photos on your computer.
Summary: I had purchased this camera for a concert that I went to last month. The zoom was working perfectly than my last malfunctioning camera I had 2 years ago. I had taken alot of photos with & it was amazing. I was also pleased on how fast it came in the mail. I like this camera so much that I can't get my hands off of it.
Summary: I purposely waited before reviewing this camera. The camera has nice functionality and ease of use. I have not had lens cap issues as others have mentioned in their reviews. I did however find some focusing issues. If this camera has it, I have not found a manual focus. Only the automatic but you can trick the focus with a halfway press of the shutter button. The zoom motor is quite fast. That makes it difficult to get the precise zoom level easily but it is possible.
Summary: PROS: Camera is great for all needs. Easy to use and software friendly. Light and sturdy with a grip makes taking pictures more ergonomic. Plenty of functions to choose from for that perfect picture. SLR Camera feel and quality CONS: won my Camera for $170 with free shipping....Went to a Walmart a few days after receiving it and saw the same Camera for only $210..
Summary: I bought this camera about a year ago... On the first day of having it I took my best photo I ever have! Since then I have continued to take amazing shots! Pros: - Macro is simply astounding! I have out bested friends who have $600-$1000 cameras in the macro category. - Battery life is amazing! Can last me a full day on 4 charged AA's - Video function can create great movies. - Photography is really good! - 15x Zoom is great!!!
Summary: I chose this camera over the newer S1500 because it provided an HD movie mode. I've only used the camera a few days, in general its OK. The one thing I wish I had noticed before purchasing is that you can't attach an external flash. This would be OK if the built in flash was adequate, but its not. Using the built in flash adds a very harsh light to faces. A deal breaker in an other wise very nice camera.
Summary: This is a good camera but if you use filters you should know that there is no screw mount or adaptable filter set for this camera. So if you do a lot of landscape photography and rely on a polarizing filter, or are a clutz and like to have a UV lens protector filter on, this is not the camera for you.
