Summary: This camera is a heaping pile of Garbage. I had it for about 1 year and then all it says is turn on and off again useless!!!! I did not drop it submerge it in water nothing just decided to crap out on me one day!!!
Summary: This camera stopped working within the week I had it. It's almost like it's bipolar. At times it will work fine, and others it will just freeze up and top working after taking about 16 pictures. DO NOT BUY. It's such horrible quality.
Summary: I must say Im not realy happy with this product or Fuji as a company. I ordered this on line about a month ago, When it came in it seamed to work well but after just two days I started to have problems, The camera started to lock up and the only way to un- lock was to remove the batery, In doing so you loose all your pictures that were saved. To make things worse I came with a 2 year warrantee through Target but they have you send it derect to fugi.
Summary: I bought this camera December 2010 and it just stopped working this month (Nov 2011). Picture quality was great but now I have to buy a new camera or try to get it repaired. Very disappointing, there was no reason for the camera to stop working, no damage. Obviously will not buy again because call me crazy, but I feel a camera should last longer than 11 months.

Summary: I am by no means a professional photographer, but I like to take high quality photos. For the past several years I have exclusively owned Panasonic Lumix FZ series cameras and have loved them. I like DSLR type cameras because they are more sturdy and have more features than point and shoot cameras. My most recent camera was a Panasonic FZ35 that I paid $329 for. By accident I dropped it and it broke.
Summary: Broke down after only ~50 shots. The symptom: after a picture is taken nothing appears on the display. The camera hang up, the indicator constantly blinks amber/green and the camera cannot be turned off. (a battery must be removed).
Summary: I bought this camera even though I had read some negative reviews. I have an older version of this same camera, which had been a very good camera for me. I just wanted something new with a little more zoom. The first real negative about this camera is that the lens cover does NOT stay on. The cover just barely sits on the lens & pops off with the slightest movement! The quality of the pics is fair. The video, when on zoom is not very good & the sound quaility is poor.
Poor quality LCD. Dead after two months of light use.

Summary: I spent hours researching and reviewing for the right camera under $200 and picked the S1800. I was initially disappointed to see a very grainy/noisy LCD and viewfinder which is comparable to a digital camera from 5-10 years ago. I was eager to utilize the many offered features but two months after very light usage the camera died completely and will not power up at all.
