Summary: I PURCHASED A USED FUJIFILM S1000FD CAMERA WITHOUT A INSTALLATION DISK. I HAVE WINDOWS 7 AND IT TRANSFERRED PIOTURES BY USB CABLE 3 TIMES AND NOW IT WILL NOT TRANSFER PICTURES.IT IS A NICE CAMERA BUT DOESN`T WORK WELL.
Summary: I bought the item Fujifilm FinePix S1500 10.0 Megapixel about a week ago. Upon arrival i was immediately impressed with this inexpensive camera. The beauty of it is excellent. The condition it is in, is a great advantage. It has many advantages actually. A carrying case, a neckstrap to be able to carry around you neck within an armspan reach, hookups to charge batteries, a very wide range span of settings, This particular item is going to be a great camera to use as...
Summary: I bought this camera a year & a half ago & I've been really pleased with it. Like the other reviews have noted, this little camera does so many things that an SLR can do. The pictures are clear & sharp, editing tools are very good & the price is so right. Mine came with an 8gb card, so I'll probably never have to buy another one. I LOVE that it has a viewfinder as well as LCD; I find that a viewfinder is a necessity for taking pics in bright sunlight.

Summary: I am a picture fanatic,,yet I'm no professional photographer by a long shot,, But my old camera wasn't doing it for me anymore so I decided to try a more advance type which led me to the Fuji,,,I bought it gently used here on ebay and when it arrived i was frightened by the size and gadgets but soon found that once i started playing aruond with it,,it was as easy as my more simple model.
Summary: I bought this camera as an upgrade to my S700. I knew the S700 would be hard to beat, it was nearly the perfect camera for me. I'm a mom, so taking those quick shots of my kids is essential. I also want great quality pictures (indoors especially). The S700 fit the bill. The S1500 does offer more features than the S700, but they are features I will never use. The Face Detection must remain "off" because it SLOWS does the camera quite a bit.
Excerpt: Have used the S1500 for a couple of months and it has become my travel camera. I use a Sony a100 and an Oly SP350, but the 1500 is just so convenient. Image quality is sharp as a tack, see flickr for examples. It won't replace my Sony or Oly but it compliments them nicely. Problems: No problems, only minor issues, no raw, but I have other cameras for that, and limited flash adjustments, again, others fill the bill.
