Summary: I PURCHASED A USED FUJIFILM S1000FD CAMERA WITHOUT A INSTALLATION DISK. I HAVE WINDOWS 7 AND IT TRANSFERRED PIOTURES BY USB CABLE 3 TIMES AND NOW IT WILL NOT TRANSFER PICTURES.IT IS A NICE CAMERA BUT DOESN`T WORK WELL.
Summary: The Fujifilm Finepix S1500 is a good camera for the price range.I like it's durarbility, picture quality & it's easy to learn & use, also the zoom lens take excellent pictures. The only thing i didn't like was the software didn't download completely. For the money i'm please with my new camera.
Excerpt: Have used the S1500 for a couple of months and it has become my travel camera. I use a Sony a100 and an Oly SP350, but the 1500 is just so convenient. Image quality is sharp as a tack, see flickr for examples. It won't replace my Sony or Oly but it compliments them nicely. Problems: No problems, only minor issues, no raw, but I have other cameras for that, and limited flash adjustments, again, others fill the bill.
Summary: I was looking for a ergonomic camera easy to use for my wife and with features similar to DSLR, I used to be a SLR amateur photographer and I am satisfied with this product, it was not so expensive, I have taken beatiful pictures with it. the only problem as many users had said, is the noise while you record a video, the video resolution is poor but is ok, I wanted a camera not a camcorder.
Excerpt: This is my 4th upgrade of a finepix SLR look camera , Previously had the 3MP, 4 MP , 5 Mp and 7 Mp versions. Some great new features and I really like this style of camera , only problem with this model is the grinding noise when you zoom and this is picked up by the microphone when recording videos . It ruins the sound, and is the first one of these cameras I have had this problem with .
Fujifilm 3D is here- and a little better then I thought
3 January 2010
Summary: I had purchased this camera initially for the novelty. I have been a collector of professional cameras and optics for years. I had no intention of replacing my Nikons with this little thing. But it is just flat out a blast to play with. The 3D takes a little getting used to. You need to experiment with it. It seems that the more objects that you have in the frame the better the 3d effect. The 3d movie function is not as great as the still shots are.
