Summary: I bought this camera back in 2008 and it's still working perfectly, I am extremely satisfied with it, sometimes it takes a couple of second to take a picture but the results are really really good, the only bad thing is that the video quality is really bad, only 460x320, I can't blame the camera since I bought it without knowing this, so just take it into consideration if you're going to be filming a lot with it.
Summary: I bought the camera for a trip to Denmark I have planned for later this spring. I currently have a Canon Powershot G2. It doesn't have quite as much versatility that the Fine pix has. The Fuji was available at a great price so I "upgraded" to it. I like the pixel capacity and the rapid fire ability of the camera. I haven't played with it enough to explore all the features yet. I wish it had a "bulb" feature so you could trip the shutter remotely.
Summary: This is a very good camera, especially for someone looking for a small point-and-shoot digital camera. It takes good quality pictures and the menus are very easy to use and understand. I decided to buy this camera due to the low price being offered by the seller and the fact that it is a small compact camera that is still powerful enough to take good quality pictures at a good price.
Summary: The camera is a great point and shoot device, it is very easy to use and the camera menu's are very easy to naviagte through. The camera uses SD card for memory vs. the older Fujifilm XD memory cards. The battery life is good not great but, I would suggest a buying a second battery pack for the camera.
Summary: LOVE: -size of camera(IT'S TINY--FITS IN ANY POCKET EASY) -14 MP -user friendly -color -inexpensive LIKE: -battery life -zoom DISLIKE: -Pictures not clear when shooting at a long distance -special battery and need of external charger -catalog/manual is digital so can't carry manual and play with camera when you first get it.
Summary: I was really surprised at the compact size of this camera and really like its sleek design. While I'm still learning about all its functions,it's far surpassed my previous Kodak Easy Share camera. With its 14 megapixals and HD video feature, I get nice, clear photos and video, even in low light. I can zoom while shooting video, and I love the feature that allows the camera to take two pictures in quick succession, one with flash, the other without.
Summary: Camera takes good quality pics and movies. Battery seems to have a long life. Battery door is very fragile-handle with care. Panorama stitching works great and is very easy to use. Overall 9 out of 10.
Summary: LOVE: -size of camera(IT'S TINY--FITS IN ANY POCKET EASY) -14 MP -user friendly -inexpensive LIKE: -battery life -zoom -Plethora of features; red eye, smile detection, panorama,etc.. DISLIKE: -special battery and need of external charger -catalog/manual is digital so can't carry manual and play with camera when you first get it. Maybe I'm old fashion, but I like having a paper catalog I can finger through when I start using my new toys..??
Summary: This is my third Fuji digital camera over 3 years. Bought it as a backup to my larger camera for a 3 week trip to Europe. The JX250 takes very good quality images - easy to use and the compact size makes it perfect to take with you everywhere. My only complaint is that the battery door seems a bit fragile and must be handled carefully to keep it from breaking. Back from Europe - took 1900 photos with this camera. Approx.
