Waiting and waiting and waiting....

Summary: I got mine on ebay from SHUEIDO CAMERA in Taiwan for $550. I was a little disappointed. I thought I would see 3D pictures on my Samsung 3D LED tv, but nothing. And the camera's display is to small for anything. And the battery life was less than an hour.
Summary: The NP-50 battery promoted to go with the W1 is for the W3 NOT the W1. Why Amazon is listing the NP-50 instead of the proper NP-95 beats me. The NP-50 WILL NOT fit the w1 model, will NOT work, NO WAY... Buyer beware...
Summary: Can anyone tell me why is this camera priced 3 times higher than the newer W3 model with exact same tech spec? Is this camera valued as a collector's antique because it is discontinued? Sony is introducing a full 1080p 3d camera for $250 and amazon is taking pre-orders now.
Unique Item, Great Technology, Lousy Software and unclear what to do with photos

Summary: I got this item from a different seller. This is a totally unique item, and features rather impressive technology. It has two digital camera that allow for the creation of 3D pictures. It has a rather amazing 3D screen. This is great for photos with a unique "gee wiz" novelty factor.
Summary: At the moment this camera is sui generis, so it's hard to critique, as there's little to compare it to in features and price. It has some odd quirks, as mentioned before, but it does work as advertised, it makes real digital 3D photos, and displays them on its back screen for viewing without...
Summary: This is the original discontinued W1 model. The NEWER W3 has much better resolution, larger screen and a much better price. The new W3 shoots 720p 1920x1080 3D movies. THIS old W1 model shoots only 640x480. Think 720p is not good? Try it.
Must-have for 3D enthusiasts and gadget freaks, pass for everyone else

Summary: As this is the world's first and only 3D digital camera for consumers, it's a must-have for 3D enthusiasts as well as diehard gadget freaks. For everyone else, the 600-dollar list price and imperfect stereoscopic effect make the W1 a passing curiosity, something that may beget future better and...
Summary: Pros: - Being able to quickly and easily take 3D digital photos without having to use 2 separate cameras. - Creates JPG and MPO output files which can be viewed in a variety of stereo modes using StereoPhoto Maker from: stereo.jpn.org/eng.
Summary: You have to give Fuji credit for thinking way outside the box on this one, and going against the tide of history. 3D is one of those technologies that seem to blossom for a few years every now and then and then sink back into obscurity.
