Decent Pocket Camera With Good Video And A Good Value
23 May 2012
Summary: My hobby is to buy things, try them, review them and then sell them, keeping the things I need. When I got the Finepix JX350 I was impressed with it's small size and many options of shooting. Videos are very good and can be adjusted for resolution and zoom can be used when "filming". I found that at the max zoom setting on photos that the edges were unsharp but at other zoom settings they were just fine.
Summary: l have had three of this series ( all bought from Amazon) and l have had no problem with them the first l lent to my son he is still using it, the second l gave to one of my other sons who kept borrowing it, he is still using it,(though one as only Fujifilm 2 GB and the other 4 GB) this one l shall not lend or give away, l find that if l take a photo l wait two to three seconds as then the object becomes clear and the photo turns out well.
Summary: I am very pleased with my new camera. It is very neat and easy to use. I was a bit unsure of the picture quality when I got some pics printed off but think I had on the wrong setting, so I really need to spend time reading the instructions!! But it has got many features and I liked the idea of panoramic view, again not worked out how to use that.
Summary: Recently I forgot for a trip to Germany my Panasonic DMC FX550 at home. Since I wanted to shoot many pictures with/for my son I was looking for a cheap point & shoot camera. The offer of 90 Euro for the Fuji Finepix JX 350 seemed reasonable to me since I was in the past always happy with my Fuji celluloid cameras. I did not regret the purchase. I was shooting approx 300 pictures in Germany and many of these pics had a good to acceptable quality.
Summary: I like this camera, is is light and easy to use. The picture quality is very good and it is useful having the zoom lens. I can't think of any negative to say about it, for the price it is excellent value.
Summary: This is a good product. I bought it as I needed a basic camera for a low price as we go through these rather quickly. My wife, who is the camera durability tester in the family, thought the camera was good but holding it was not great. She preferred the AX250. I liked the size as it fit in my pockets well, I liked the Fuji features which make it a good point and snap, I loved the panaroma. If it was a touch faster to start up and focus, it would be a great camera.
