Summary: First, this is the wife talking, not the husband who bought it. The Fuji camera is really cute, very small, very light weight. It auto sets the picture so they turn out really good despite my lack of skill. Glad it has a cord attached so I don't drop it down an embankment like the last (other mfg.)camera. Easy to use. It did not come with an SD card so we had to take one from an older camera and then go buy a new one. It does not work without the sd card.
Summary: Got this camera as a replacement for my old Fuji Finepix F20 6.3 MP camera, which I have had for 5 yrs. & LOVE. I am very disappointed in this new Fuji JV200 model. I wanted something with a lot higher pixel rate, that had a nice zoom and was smaller and lighter than my old Fuji. I hate the double flash that you can't turn off. I also dislike how you can not always set/control the flash in many shooting modes. And there are too many shooting modes..
Summary: Not what I expected. Couldn't use as a present so gave to a neighbor kid for doing my walks. Hard to enter a hundred characters for a review when object not worth the time. However if you want a small camera that takes pictures this one will work but the directions too complicated for an old dog like me.
Excerpt: I am a total novice when it comes to cameras, but because we were going on holiday to Rome last summer I thought I would treat myself, I bought the Fugi Finepix JV200/JV205 camera, and I must confess that I was not disappointed. I was looking for a camera that was easy to use, that only needed pointing to the target press a button and shoot, and that's exactly what I got.
Pros: Very easy to use for a complete novice, neat and compact
Excerpt: I will be adding pictures of the product later today (22/11/12) when I get home to my laptop Point and Click, Click, Click I am a terrible amateur. Possibly even a complete voyeur in that I love to watch things and take pictures. Everything needs recorded. This probably stems from loving the giant grey suitcase full of old photographs that my family kept. It was carted out on a rare occasion and we’d all have a rake through it. I always found it fascinating.
Pros: lovely photos in well lit areas
Cons: terrible photos if the lighting isn't perfect, blurry .
Excerpt: FinePix JV200 / JV205 I’ve owned this camera for about five months now and I bought it from Dixon’s for £59.99 which is a reasonable price for a digital camera. It comes in five different colour choices and there are blue, red, black, white, silver and pink. These are all nice metallic colours but I chose the blue one as it’s my favourite colour.
