Excerpt: I purchased this camera after losing one. I bought it because of the price, but it has turned out to be the best camera I have ever owned. It is small enough to put in your pocket if you are an active person like I am, and it works wonderfully. My sister has a REALLY nice, expensive camera. Her and I both took pictures at my father's wedding and my pictures turned out a lot better than hers. She even admitted to that. It has a lot of different function also that...
Summary: -Top flap for battery & memory card is "funky" - flips open-can easily break, especially with youth -Good battery choice-cost effective and included battery re-charger (Li-on) -Bit complicated to find picture type detail specs (flower, Sunset etc) beyond circular toolbar -Good for price, and 12 megapixels
Is Bigger Better?Fujifilm FinePix JV100 12.2 Megapixels

Summary: Fuji fine pix are great units! I have an older 5 Megapix I carry daily in my survey vest. Great unit proven in the field conditions (Alaska, Washington, Oregon and Colorado for three years) and it very dependable. I find the JV100 unit to be small for my hands. It is not an item to drop so I believe it's too compact to use in the field on a daily basis.
Summary: Ok, it's only half the price of a Nikon or Canon and it's not a perfect camera, but the things you download into your iPad will be great. I am coming from a 7MPixel camera to this and it is pretty nice and the HD video is very good. The only downside is the battery that must be removed to charge and the flimsy battery door.
Excerpt: I am so disappointed with this camera. I hear the brand name "Fugifilm" and think of great things, and that this camera is going to great. But I was sadly mistaken. ** **I just want a good camera so I can take pictures of my family! First the specs of this camera: 12 mega. panorama, smile/blink detection, and can do 720 HD videos. ** * So for a camera doing all this, with a price tag of only 119 bucks it does sound to be like a good deal.
Summary: Bought as a christmas present for my 9 year old grand daughter. I selected it because the controls were straightforward, it was small and it was pink! She had it sorted out with very little input from me and was producing good pics and videos in no time at all. I also bought an additional SD card (4GB) at the same time. Usual very good delivery and communication from Amazon.
Summary: I've been using this camera now for about 6 months and have been pleased with the photos it produces. I would warn potential buyers however about the video function. I paid about £90 in Jessops although it is now available for about £50. The camera is available in blue or black and comes with a battery, charger and USB cable.
This camera, like many others, comes with a host of different shooting modes, 8 in total.
