Excerpt: I purchased this camera after losing one. I bought it because of the price, but it has turned out to be the best camera I have ever owned. It is small enough to put in your pocket if you are an active person like I am, and it works wonderfully. My sister has a REALLY nice, expensive camera. Her and I both took pictures at my father's wedding and my pictures turned out a lot better than hers. She even admitted to that.
Summary: I think the camera overall is a pretty good deal. The picture are clear and amazing and Luzy's Storage Place delivered my item to me in ONE business with standard deliverly. I thought that was amazing. The only thing you have to be careful with is its size. This this is really small, but if your someone who carries one around often I guess this may work in your favor.
Summary: I've had several PAC cameras in the past and after my last one broke, I needed to definitely purchase a new one. I was looking for something with good, sharp pictures, but something that didn't beat me over the head with features designed to hold the photographer's hand. This is about right. First, let me say what it doesn't have.
Is Bigger Better?Fujifilm FinePix JV100 12.2 Megapixels
22 December 2010
Summary: Fuji fine pix are great units! I have an older 5 Megapix I carry daily in my survey vest. Great unit proven in the field conditions (Alaska, Washington, Oregon and Colorado for three years) and it very dependable. I find the JV100 unit to be small for my hands. It is not an item to drop so I believe it's too compact to use in the field on a daily basis.
Excerpt: I am so disappointed with this camera. I hear the brand name "Fugifilm" and think of great things, and that this camera is going to great. But I was sadly mistaken. ** **I just want a good camera so I can take pictures of my family! First the specs of this camera: 12 mega. panorama, smile/blink detection, and can do 720 HD videos. ** * So for a camera doing all this, with a price tag of only 119 bucks it does sound to be like a good deal.
Like a user-friendly version of the J38 with new features!!!
25 April 2010
Summary: This version of the Finepix has many similarities to the Fujifilm Finepix J38 12MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD , which I reviewed in November. There are a few differences. One new feature of this camera is the HD Movie Mode, which shows in 720p and 1920 x 1080 stills. The camera also has compatibility with HDTVs, which means the pictures will show in HD, if they are reviewed on an HDTV. The camera also has a new Smile and Blink Detection system.
Summary: Bought as a christmas present for my 9 year old grand daughter. I selected it because the controls were straightforward, it was small and it was pink! She had it sorted out with very little input from me and was producing good pics and videos in no time at all. I also bought an additional SD card (4GB) at the same time. Usual very good delivery and communication from Amazon.
