Summary: I bought this for my wife last Christmas (2010) and it was a great easy to use camera for her. Her previous camera always took blurry pictures and had to many settings that always ended up getting changed. This one is a point and shoot and perfect. Until a few weeks back. Almost a year to the day since I bought it I noticed that the battery was always dead. Even after charging it.
Summary: It is a bad quality in all senses: - what the camera is made of - and the pictures it makes I did not like a single picture I took with it. At some point I just sold it to someone else, and I was really feeling bad for giving such a crappy product to someone else.
Summary: Bought this item last December as a gift to my daughter. At a price of $59 then, it was a real bargain. However, last week I accidentally hit a door knob while the camera was strung in my hand and the LCD display hit the metal knob. It was a slight bump but when I turned the camera on the LCD dispay would not turn on. Also there was what look like liquid inside the lower right portion of the display and that's when I realized the display itself might be damaged.
Summary: We were told that this item would not make it here on the expected due date. Since it was a XMAS present, we decided to cancel it and purchase elsewhere. We attempted to cancel it online and were given the procedures for returing the item once we received it. In other words, we had to receive the canceled order and then return it. We followed the instructions, printed a return label and waited, waited, waited.
Summary: I got this camera 2 days ago. I was originally going to give it to my sister as a Christmas gift but after playing around with it for a while, I noticed that there were many flaws with this camera. I have a Fujifilm camera myself but this fujifilm camera sucked compared to mine. The material that is made of cheap plastic. The camera quality is really poor. The image is really "grainy" That's the thing that really throws me off about this product.
Summary: If you do a search online for Fuji camera's and "zoom error" you will find pages of reviews and problems. It worked ok for a few days, but constantly over the next 6 months the lense gets stuck in the halfway-out zoom position and I am getting the "zoom error" message. Owners manual says "zoom error" indicates a camera malfunction. I searched online for answers and it would appear my camera is not just an isolated lemon. Looks like it might be Fuji's lemon.
