Beware of used cameras, I guess they are on sale for a reason.
7 February 2013
Summary: I bought this camera because it was similar to the j-2 that I had good luck with for years. I had trouble with this camera's zoom lens not working most of the time. The cost to even have someone look at it was more than the camera. I would never buy another 'used' camera.
Summary: We bought one for my mother and one for our 12 year old son. They both had difficulty figuring out how to use it. The battery doesn't last long either. Next time, I would buy a Canon Sureshot.
Summary: I got this camera off of a friend, as he never really used it at all and it seemed like a perfectly good digital camera. In the times that I have used it, it's a very good camera for it's value. It doesn't glitch out or do a terrible job managing pictures, and it's fairly easy to use.
Summary: The camera that I received was so scratched and beat up that I returned it. There was no card in it, and the battery was drained so I could not even try it out. I will be more careful in buying used equipment and ask for a thorough description.
