Very dishonest zoom stats. Not a 42X zoom

Summary: This camera is really about a 26X zoom. It has a 2X digital zoom option. They use this to arrive at the 42X zoom number they use. That's not all that's bad on this camera. The zoom itself is jerky and has several catches when you turn it. The menus are tiny, ugly and confusing. the ON/OFF switch is constantly getting moved by accident. The owners manual is really terrible, both the short and long version. Hard to find what you what read about and very incomplete.
Summary: When I first got the HS50EXR, I thought it would replace my DSLR (several year-old Canon Rebel XT). I know this isn't a DSLR, and I knew that when I got it. At first glance, it's a great camera. It's got the rotating/flip lcd on the back, as well as a standard viewfinder. The lens has good zoom range, auto-focus works well. The trouble: It hasn't taken good pictures. It's quick, but not quick enough, and no matter what I do, motion pictures have blur.
Summary: After all the reviews I have read saying how fantastic this camera is and how DSLR users are selling there cameras and lenses to buy this. I am very disappointed in the clarity and resolution of the photos in RAW format, lots of noise even at ISO 400. The autofocus is a waste of time for speed, they recon its 0.05 sec. Well it doesn't work for me. It also mentions 11 fps in RAW, that's rubbish too. You can only shoot 6fps max and only 5 photos burst rate.
Summary: Purchased this bridge camera as I was hoping to replace an elderly budget DSLR and loved the TSV presentation especially the photo of the birds in the sunset - wow! The camera arrived very quickly too - great service. Good Points: Comfortable to use Quiet in operation Nice wide angle Bad Points: In bright sunlight - Screen not good at all viewfinder also too small and poor in sunlight Aperture range too limited Photos not sharp enough for my taste I have returned this...
Summary: After three days of buying this camera,it developed a fault. My biggest mistake was contacting Fugi after sales service for help. They were not in the least bit interested and merely told me to return the camera At my expense. This was after me telling them I purchased the camera from QVC. Possibly the worst kind of service I have ever experienced. Sent the camera back for a refund. I will never buy Fugi again. It's back to Canon for me. Please be aware.

Summary: Meine Fuji S100SF sollte ersetzt werden. Zur Auswahl standen ausschliesslich Bridgekameras von Fuji, da diese, meines Wissens nach, die Einzigen sind welche einen manuellen Zoom haben. Also die X-S1 bestellt.
