Summary: Great camera! I got a factory refurb for $160, and no problems at all in the past two months I've been using it. Not long after getting it, I ordered the EF-42 flash. Together, they make a great combo for general photography. I love the range of the lens, from 22 to 720 mm.
Summary: Initially, I really liked this camera. I particularly liked the manual zoom lense which was much faster and didn't use battery power. However, very soon after receipt, a blurry, scratched-looking area appeared in the center of the lense--BETWEEN the outer and inner lenses!
Summary: Hi everyone, last year I bought the Fujifilm HS25 basically knowing nothing about photography and dslr's other than that I wanted to be able to take quality images. The Fuji HS25 completes that task with ease and I think that the photos you can take with this camera could rival any other dslr and...
Summary: For using in tight situations... for using as a teaching/learning instrument... for using in places that do not allow DSLR's. Seems to be rugged as I carry it with me everywhere. Different functions allow you to be creative and yet simple enough as a 'point-n-shoot' camera. At this price...
Summary: this was in the bargain shop & was a good deal. I did research before my purchase and it has met my expections. I still need to read more of the instruction book (I found on line) and it did not come with a lens cover, which I found disappointing.
Summary: I love this camera. I am a complete novice so I wanted a very user friendly camera that would choose settings for me and give me great quality photos but I also wanted it to "grow" with me as I was learning to become a better photographer and this camera offers both.
Summary: So far I like it..........I haven't had it long enough to really give any info on the product. I will say when I received the item it did not have a lens cover for the camera and it was suppose to have ALL the parts with it! Upset about that had to buy a generic lens cover for it.
Summary: I was considering an alternative to Nikon D3100, their entry level DSLR. This Fuji represents about a 30% savings. After using it, its ok, but not great. One has to get used to the electronic viewfinder. Photo quality, mainly exposure under widely varying conditions, is not up to the Nikon quality.
