Fujifilm FinePix HS20 EXR Review
What Digital Camera
4 May 2011
Summary: Brand new releases come with top-end asking prices, yet the £380 for the HS20 is about right. The only thing that’s going to usurp it are older models, including Fuji’s own HS10 (around £225 at the time of writing), that have been on the market for a little longer and seen a steep price drop.
Pros: 24-720mm lens with manual zoom, built in EVF presence, tilt-angle LCD, external flash compatible
Cons: Image quality not staggering, slow Raw processing, no design update over HS10, EVF’s low resolution
Conclusion: The Fuji Finepix HS20EXR is an ideal choice if you are looking for an advanced digital camera with plenty of zoom power. This camera is packed with features, takes high quality photos and handles in a similar way to a Digital SLR.
Pros: Twisting lens barrel, sharpness of shots, general handling, features, colours, macro shots
Cons: More detail showing in darker areas of photos
