Summary: I purchased this camera less than a year ago and only used it on a few occasions. I went to use it last week as I wanted to take it on a trip and the lens got stuck in the open position and would not retract when I turned the camera off.

Summary: If the menu and options buttons made more sense it would be overwhelmingly fantastic. Quality of images is very good, but remembering where each setting is located in the "unending" menus and various knob positions makes high quality, impromptu photos difficult.
Almost everything about this camera is great. With Macro

Summary: Almost everything about this camera is great. With Macro, I look into the flower like a lilly, and what's deep in the flower is focused great. Photos in regular focus are also great. The thing I HATE is my trying to remember to let the flash up. It's not automatic.
Summary: These point and shoot cameras are hard to beat. With a good assortment of shooting modes you can get some excellent pictures. This camera has wi-fi capabilities but if you don't want that you can save some money and get eeverything else in the F850.
14 Months of Use and the camera is unusable. Estimate to repair is $160.

Summary: I bought this camera to use in my construction and consulting business. It allows me to really zoom in to pick up the details on an installed piece of equipment to be able to see how it is mounted and installed. I can even pick off mfgrs part numbers without needing a ladder or manlift.
Summary: This camerra is basically the F850 with wifi capabilities. With 16 megapixels and 20x zoom with advanced filters you should have about all you want in a point and shoot camera. If you don't want the wifi save some money and get the F850 otherwise this is the camera you.
