Arrived clearly used & Images taken were Poor
2 weeks ago
Summary: Unfortunately, we had to send this product back. Upon opening there was a dead give-away that someone else had this before us, as there were fingerprints all over the rear LCD screen. The most obvious other give-away was the fact that someone had set the menu language to some obscure language other than English. At first we thought maybe they had sent us the Japanese version but the language appears to be Russian or something of that origin.
Great device if you have a memory like a steel trap

Summary: If the menu and options buttons made more sense it would be overwhelmingly fantastic. Quality of images is very good, but remembering where each setting is located in the "unending" menus and various knob positions makes high quality, impromptu photos difficult. Always focused, but aperture/shutter/effects get wonky without tweaking settings. If you have the time to memorize all the settings locations, this camera rocks.
Almost everything about this camera is great. With Macro
3 March 2015
Summary: Almost everything about this camera is great. With Macro, I look into the flower like a lilly, and what's deep in the flower is focused great. Photos in regular focus are also great. The thing I HATE is my trying to remember to let the flash up. It's not automatic. But, it's obvious when you take the picture. But forgetting to release the flash and get the photo at that right time can make you speak to yourself.
Summary: These point and shoot cameras are hard to beat. With a good assortment of shooting modes you can get some excellent pictures. This camera has wi-fi capabilities but if you don't want that you can save some money and get eeverything else in the F850.
The photos are acceptable but maybe not good enough for marketing brochures

Summary: I bought this camera to use in my construction and consulting business. It allows me to really zoom in to pick up the details on an installed piece of equipment to be able to see how it is mounted and installed. I can even pick off mfgrs part numbers without needing a ladder or manlift. The photos are acceptable but maybe not good enough for marketing brochures. That might also be due to my complete lack of ability.
Summary: This camerra is basically the F850 with wifi capabilities. With 16 megapixels and 20x zoom with advanced filters you should have about all you want in a point and shoot camera. If you don't want the wifi save some money and get the F850 otherwise this is the camera you. The manual comes in Japanese so you need the disk for English directions.
Summary: Love this camera. Bought this to replace the same model which had dropped out of my bag into the driveway and met a sad end....I will admit it doesn't stand up to being driven over. I get great pictures with this camera and there's enough settings to let me experiment and be artistic. Note that this camera came to me with its manual in Japanese but it's avaliable in English online.
It takes surprisingly good pictures in low light and the image stabilizing works ...

Summary: Compact and solidly built. It takes surprisingly good pictures in low light and the image stabilizing works very well, even in low light. I am an avid photographer who wants a lot of control over my camera and this provides it. In addition I can shoot in RAW which is almost unheard of for that type of camera. The zoom performs very well and I have taken pictures in low light at 500mm (equivalent) which are very sharp.
Easy for the amateur; reliable and logical menus; good on-camera software

Summary: Perhaps a bit pricey for the amateur, but nice features, easy for the amateur / reliable menus and on-camera software (trust me, some other cameras have great hardware specs, but fail on this). Has a few features that pros will appreciate for quick snaps, too. I have enjoyed tagging along with this camera with my wife while she does the real photography with her real professional equipment and have been able to come up with some nice prize-winning results of my own,...
