Excerpt: One of the better superzoom compacts I have tried offering a quite nice set of features. Positive points are + Decent 27-270mm lens range and optics are quite good (least on my copy sharp) + EXR does indeed work esp the DR modes really does help cling onto highlights where most cameras run and hide + Metering is good mostly reliable and won't need much adjustment even in lower light levels + Flash is quite consistent with good powering down for closer up subjects can be...
Summary: Introduction: The Fujifilm F70EXR is the smallest Point & Shoot camera out there with a amazing 10x wide angle zoom! This camera offers a 10MP censor, ISO from 100-12800, 27mm wide angle lens with a 10x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, CCD sensor, shutter speeds from 8 seconds to 1/2000 seconds, Aperture from F3.3 - F5.6, built in flash that is effective up to 4,2 meters, and takes SD/ SDHC cards.
Pros: The Fujifilm's common strenghts are:, - 10 megapixals offer good quality images even up to 10x zoom, - Very good wide angle, - Very good zoom, - Lot's of shooting modes including 480p video and low light mode, - Comfortable to hold and transport (you can carry it in your pocket), - Good mode dial ring
Cons: The Fujifilm's common weaknesses are:, - The camera doesn't memorize the photo you were just viewing. (example: You are viewing photo #54 out of 100, and you take a picture, then if you want to view IMG54 again, you need to click the button all the way to that photo, so it bascially doesn't memorize the picture you were viewing., - The zoom ring can get stuck and not work properly, - It doesn't have very good Image Stabalization, - Doesn't shoot RAW, - Doesn't have ve...
Excerpt: The Pro Focus and Pro Low Light mode are very interesting features to play with. The SN EXR mode works well and up to my expectation. IMHO, the ISO 800 is also usable for print up to A4 size. Quite good value for money.
Summary: I am not a camera buff - but wanted a camera to give me really striking images. I reviewed the images this camera produced online before purchasing to get a 'feel' for this camera as they all reproduce colors slightly differently. The images from this camera are amazing. The contrast and low light performance is what I bought it for.
Summary: I was intrigued by Fuji's F-series cameras after reading about the pixel binning technology they employ to allow for superior operation in low light settings. I had been looking for a camera that could take decent quality indoor photos, and while SLR cameras are better suited for indoor photography, they seemed like overkill for a casual photo taker and are far outside my price range.
Excerpt: Great point & shoot with DSLR colors/contrast, the Aperture mode leaves alot to be desired IMO, battery could be better but with a lower resolution screen setting and no display its fine worth the $160 i paid for, it replaced my 3yr old olympus fe360 has my P&S (which is still a great camera).
