Summary: This is a great little camera that takes great big beautiful crisp detailed pictures. Have had it for some time now and no regrets. Easy to use, I always shot on auto-but lots of other settings for the camera buffs. Great investment-going strong.
Summary: For the price it does everything I want quite well. I am not a professional photographer and simply wanted a camera that will capture good, crisply focused pictures for me. The camera does that and a lot more. Honestly it does things that I simply am not interested enough to learn.

Summary: I bought it because all of the professional reviews said that it was fast: Comes to life quickly after power-on, and doesn't have much hesitation or lag once you press the shutter button. I have found this to be mostly the case, so in that regard I am pleased. It also does pretty well with low-light situations, doing an HDR multi-exposure thing that looks pretty good.
Summary: it is too complicated for a 'computer challenged' person of my age. way, way too many choices for settings. will never learn them. camera will break before i find the proper setting for outside and/or inside pix taking... but i do say, it has a lot of potentially good things, like the panoramic setting, the instand video which records in MOV format - many computers are not able to open this type of files.
Summary: I've had this now for about 6 months and so far, I am more than pleased with the photos this camera takes. The zoom works great for both photos and movies. I'm a professional photographer and this is my "always have camera" because it' compact and fits in my pocket so I don't have to haul all my gear out sometimes on ski trips and long mountain bike rides.
Summary: I bought this for our trip to Florida/Disney World. It is a great camera so far. Takes clear pictures, of great quality. You can change the speed of the camera from 800 to 400 to 200. I haven't tried most of the settings on it yet, but what I have used has worked great! I am not a camera genius or anything like that. I have taken a few photo classes though. And I would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for a great camera, cheap, and not too bulky.
