Summary: Originally bought the Fuji F10, which I loved. The card to was to small to shoot video, but it took great pictures, especially in the Natural Light setting. Decided to get upgrade because my daughter coveted my old camera, and the F650 had greater zoom and screen size. Also bought the 2GB card, which allowed me to shoot more than 30 min of Video.
Excerpt: I bought this F650 when they first came out ('bout 18 months ago). I've been very pleased with it overall. • It feels like a quality item, its compact, has a big screen, it's easy to use (but not touch screen). • Picture quality is good but not outstanding. • Range and quality of features is excellent, having a 5x optical zoom. • Durability is seems excellent as mine gets used a heck of a lot and it's still in great nick.
Pros: Ease of use, reliable picture quality, looks good .
Cons: Images not 100% pin sharp but probably as good as any at price .
Excerpt: Prior to purchasing my new Photosmart camera, I used to own this wonderful if somewhat dated Fujifilm F650. When buying a camera, I always look for a good optical zoom, easy navigation menus and a decent sized screen for reviewing and taking pictures. At the time, the Fujifilm F650 delivered this but 18 months on its fagility and robustness have be called into question. Design is pretty basic but finished in brushed aluminium and chrome fittings.
Pros: Nice large screen, great pictures
Cons: Power hungry, fragile, screen scratches easily .
Excerpt: This is a very smart and powerful camera that would suit lesiure and family use, yet it still provides a powerful zoom and super macro for extremly close up and detailed shots. Having only had this a few days I feel at home with it and have already taken some shots that i could never have with any of my previous cameras. There are a number of settings for various shooting situations that enable you to take the perfect picture in almost any condition.
Pros: Large TFT Screen, Price, Size, various shoot modes .
