Summary: As Fujifilm compact camera reputation, This F seris Finepix is one of the best camera which can shoot a picture in low light. But unlike I expect, there's many limitation on functions like movie (only 25fps), and uncomfortable control. Before I use this camera, I used Panasonic FX-150 and Nicon S700 which have 1/1.7"size CCD sensor. FX-150 has wonderful and amazing mechanical parts, and S700 was really lightweight camera.
Summary: This camera is exactly what my husband wanted. It takes very clear pictures and responds very fast to his needs. We are both very pleased with our purchase and are extremely satisfied with the price.
Summary: This is a fun camera. My wife took this into an assignment of my shooting a group of 160 children. The quality was UNBELIEVABLE. The buyer will have to spend a little time in navigting the controls. The buyer of this camera will not be disapointed! This review comes from a prfessional, Thanks and good shooting! S.M.
Excerpt: The camera features the largest sensor among subcompacts and consequently one of the best low-light performances; ISO 800 is still well useable. On the other hand, the camera chooses high ISO even if it not necessary and in most automatic modes the manual ISO override and exposure compensation are not accessible.
Excerpt: I was a professional photographer for 20 years using HAsselblad and Nikon cameras.Since retiring I carry a compact round in my pocket.I have a Fuji F11 (6.2mp) with which I have taken some super photos. After reading reviews of the F60 I bought one.Big mistake!! At all speeds I find the images very very noisy. The F11 is a far superior camera in my opinion and I have put the F60 on Ebay.
Excerpt: Good bright high resolution screen. One of the few compact cameras with aperture and shutter priority. Manual mode is really an auto mode with over-ride capability, which I use quite often to get the best pictures. The flash could be stronger. Must be within 15 ft of the subject in order for the flash to be effective. The battery life could be better too. Higher ISO's get quite noisy. Pictures taken at ISO 100 and 200 are very good.
