Excerpt: I bought this to play with raw files. It has a raw format all of my software recognizes as half its resolution. the software supplied will translate the image but not to a better raw format. So its not supported very well. The guys in fuji were very good.
Summary: I have owned this camera for a little over a year now. I replaced my Casio exilim cameras with this one. When I first got it, it would sometimes freeze when I had too much memory occupied on my memory card. Now it freezes all of the time. I want to beat it with a hammer.
Summary: I've had Fuji camera products in the past, and had always been happy with them. Good to excellent picture quality, good build quality. Always recommended Fuji to friends. But, we went with another camera brand last go-around, and results were mixed.
Summary: While the camera itself is excellent, the GPS can take well over 1 hour to find itself. I just spent a day walking around outside with clear skies and no obstructions, and the camera could not lock on to a satellite signal.
Summary: I was searching a lot for a camera before my trip to India, i did not want a big camera, just a pocket camera, easy to operate and decent quelity pictures. Unfortunatelly I thought this was a good option but it was not: Problems: - Flash really bad located, you or other people will push it when...
Summary: While this camera has some nice features, there are a few things that left me not very excited after my first few days with this camera. The main thing is the GPS's lack of support outside of the camera.
Summary: Most disappointing camera I have EVER purchased in 35 years of photography. Shocked by how poor the color reproduction accuracy was on auto and the camera's inability to focus in certain light conditions.
Summary: I used this camera only occasionally and yet, just after a year (as warranty expired), problems started. First, I wasn't able to turn it on. I hoped it was a battery problem, but it wasn't. I left the camera for weeks, then tried again and it turned on and worked fine.
Summary: Bought this camera and the designated underwater casing (WP-FXF500) for vacation use, including diving. The included software CD has known errors, and will not install. On FujiFilms homepage several users suggest you use it as a coaster :-) I Downloaded newer version from FujiFilms homepage.
