Summary: Got the camera for a good price. This camera has a lot of features, HD video, big zoom. Originally got this for my daughter. The camera had a problem right from the start. The batteries would discharge when in the camera within 24 hours. Also problems developed with the flash. Returned the camera under warranty and got it repaired. Did not get good explanation what was replaced. Since repair, the camera has been working fine. Battery life good.
Summary: This was a replacement for the same camera I had that was stolen. I love this camera and was so happy I could find the same model on Amazon. The seller did all I expected.I'm ready for Hawaii.
Summary: This is a great camera. My wife is a teacher. And we do the yearbook. The problem is classrooms and assembly halls aren't very well lit. So you need a camera with excellent low light capability. This camera is one of the better ones in that regard. Takes great pics with very good color. Lots of different modes for macro, portrait, sports, landscape, etc. But auto works perfectly a huge majority of the time. Great little camera. Wonderful little price.
Summary: After a short time of use the camera's lens now doesn't fully open. I had the same issue with a different color of the camera that stopped working. I am not a happy camper after discovering the trend of issues concerning this camera.
Summary: I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed that when you zoom while recording movies, that you can hear the zooming when you play it pack on the computer or tv? Just trying to figure out if this is just a defective one or if it is a fault of this model camera.
Summary: This is a terrific camera, I have no complaints whatsoever. I saw one review though that said this camera is not for beginners and that might be true. It is a little more complicated than my other point and shoots that I've had (I always wind up buying fuji finepix too)but in my honest opinion once you figure out how to use it the picture and video quality is worth the time you'll take tinkering. Plus there is always the internet.
