Overall a very nice camera for serious point and shoot user. Great value!

Summary: Easy to use. Excellent picture quality. Long zoom. Flash on left pops up at fire up, kind of annoying and located where I would like to hold that side of the camera. Slightly small for my large chunky hands!
Summary: Purchased this camera through Murphy's Camera Shop and was very impressed with how quickly it arrived. They even sent the $50.00 rebate form. I sent the form in and received my check in a week..wow! Now for the camera..I purchased for a wedding gift for my son and his new wife. They had been to a camera shop and picked this camera out. They took it on their honeymoon to Colorado and said they love, love, love the camera.

Summary: (Note: I just now posted the following detailed comparison/review of the Fuji F300EXR and the Lumix (Panasonic) DMC-ZS7 over in the customer review section for the Lumix DMC-ZS7. I am reposting that here also, in its entirety, because it contains quite a lot of info in the F300EXR too, and thus may also be of some interest to folks looking at the F300EXR.) -=-=-=- Hummm... where to begin. I'm a very experienced amateur photographer.
Summary: I was looking for a camera to carry around with me when I wasn't in the mood to lug around my Nikon D90 and all its lenses. My requirements were high picture quality and a long optical zoom in a reasonably compact case. I found all that and much more in the Fujifilm FinePiz F300EXR. Some key points: - The optical zoom is very, very impressive. I can't say enough good things about it. - The menus can be a little confusing - there are a lot of options.
Fantastic Camera, once you take the time to learn it.

Summary: I am amateur photographer who loves taking pictures wherever I am. After my Samsung ST45 died on me last year, I was in search of a replacement. I stumbled across the F300EXR while googling for camera deals. After reading the reviews I was very skeptical, about the purchase. However I was able to find the camera as an open box item for $149 with free shipping and figured it was worth the risk since there was nothing in that price range that could beat the specs on paper.
Summary: This is my second Fujifilm digital camera. Previous one was an excellent fd40, unfortunately broken. I like this new camera very much. Metal case, sense and weight of a quality stuff. 15x zoom is awesome, put into such a small body. If you are not a "photo freak", EXR mode will do all for you in a simple way. The only think I really don't like (along with many other customers)is the popping-up flash. Seems weak, and it's very annoying when trying to hold the camera.
Summary: I ordered this camera from Amazon after seeing it was $100 less from here than at my local camera stores. What I gave up in the purchase was the ability to stop by and ask bone-head questions, but that will force me to read the 150-some page owners manual that comes on a disc in PDF format.
Very talented and flawed camera. Saved by the deal.

Summary: I've been using this camera for a few weeks now and can say I am very very please with it. I purchased it here for $199 shipped. Using it allot can say I certainly got my money's worth. Pros; All metal construction, extremely well built. On the flipside this will make me cry if I ever drop it far and it get scuffed. It is not flimsy at all though and feels far stronger than most Canon and Nikons. Zoom lens is great and works with movies. Compact and fits my hands well.
