  • Summary: This was purchased for a friend whose previous fuji film fine pix F30 broke, but she was such a fan of the camera she wanted the exact same one even though there are more recent cameras on the market.

Fujifilm FinePix F30

  • Summary: This is a great little camera. Can take good pictures with poor lighting or even bright backgrounds. It can be used close-up to photograph old photographs for good quality reproductions. A little gem.

Fujifilm FinePix F30

Warren B Zepp Jr, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this camera quite a while ago and love it. It is very easy to use, and the menus are very intuitive, so I don't need to constantly keep instructions with me if I want to use features other than the automatic setting. I also have a digital SLR that I use a lot, but it is heavy and expensive so I often don't use it if the weather is bad, or I am not planning to take many pictures. The F30 is small and lightweight, so I often carry it instead of the SLR.

User Review

  • Excerpt: The FujiFilm FinePix F30 is a fantastic digital camera. It takes photos in complete darkness, too! Aperture and shutter speeds can be changed. You can record your voice to each photo, and it has an automatic mode for novices to use too! If you are not too sure if a particular photo shoot requires flash or not, the camera takes two photos consecutively at a press of a button! Probably the best compact camera since sliced bread!

Best low-light digital point-and-shoot made, bar none.

vixen7, Ebay
9 September 2011
  • Summary: This little point-and-shoot camera is one of the best of its kind for low-light shooting. I lost my first one and was half sick over it since Fuji no longer makes this model, and I take a lot of dusk and evening pictures. I looked for a replacement, but none could hold a candle to the F30 for extraordinary low light pictures. I found used ones for double what I paid for a new one several years back, but after much looking finally got one on Ebay for a good price.

Great quality images and thats what it's all about!!!!

  • Summary: I have several SLR's and usually point and shoots don't compare however this is an exceptional camera. The available light photos at high ISO's are quite nice. Very good for concerts where yhey confiscate your SLR PRO looking camera. I already had one of these that I also purchased on E-Bay. Got this for a spare. The seller warned of a "spot" that appeared in all pics. I bought it anyway. The spot can easily be taken with PHOTOSHOP.

  • Summary: Fine camera~! The only thing I am not crazy about is it uses the XD cards instead of SD cards, but it's a wonderful camera nonetheless

Easy to use

Clyde Perrine "Jeepman", Amazon
2 January 2010
  • Summary: I bought this camera for my wife. She needed a good compact point and shoot camera to replace the bulky 4Mb digital I gave her a few years ago. The small size allowed her to keep it in her purse most all the time. The number of family pictures was increased because of that. The added features improved our pictures. The preset scene settings meets our needs and I also bought a 4 Gig memory card that gives us more than adequate photo and movie storage.

Fuji F30 Camera

Overstock
29 November 2007
  • Summary: This is a discontinued camera since it is 6.1mp---but that is really all one needs unless you are making large poster prints. This camera is best suited for low-light or indoors due to its' sensitive image processor & quality optics. I did some wonderful indoor shots by manually setting at ISO 800 & disabling the flash. The settings are very intuitive. I intend to also use this camera underwater in a Fuji housing.
