Great little camera

Rick, B&H Photo
18 November 2014
  • Excerpt: I use this camera for everything, even along on vacation with my older Pentax film camera. Enlargements come out beautifully, and 16 megapixels is more than enough for anyone. Small design fits in any pocket, easy to use, plus a myriad of neat features, including video. Very happy with it.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact

Very good value

Rich, Amazon
9 August 2014
  • Summary: Have used the camera for awhile now...it takes excellent, sharp photos and video, and is easy to use. The memory card slips right into my Macbook Air, and editing is no problem. It's great cause it's so small, and has quite a few cool functions. At $90, you can't go wrong.

In the bright sun its fine. Inside and for fast motion/ sports the lens ...

Annette R. Miller, Amazon
31 July 2014
  • Summary: Review by Stan. In the bright sun its fine. Inside and for fast motion/ sports the lens is not fast enough at f3.3. Also, it does not take the picture when you press the button, there is a time lag, and a large time lag between pictures. Nikon COOLPIX L28 20.1 MP has a slightly faster lens at f3.2, but had all the same problems. I'm still looking for a point and shoot with AA batteries and a faster lens.

Now I see why cameras on phones are killing standalone cameras

Skyhorse, Amazon
3 July 2014
  • Summary: I got one of these recently and tried to set it up this afternoon. What an exercise! First, the Mac software is only for Power PC (the ten year old operating system for Macs) up through v.10.6--although I like most people are running 10.9 now, which doesn't recognize this old software. I did have an old MacBook Pro running 10.6.8, so loaded it on that. The software loaded easily, however it COULD NOT FIND ITS OWN CAMERA drive!

Great Point and Shoot

Daniel Moore, Amazon
4 September 2014
  • Summary: Great one touch camera (point and shoot). Uses standard SD cards and AA batteries which is a plus when travelling and needing to get a few batteries for those critical shots in Rome, Paris, etc... Sharp clear pictures and nice large screen... great for a first timer, student or someone who just wants a simple camera.
