Summary: These little Fuji ax series cameras do a fine job. That is why I got the ax300. It works great like the other models and has the motion panorama feature. This model is an old one but if you can get a good price the newer models are pretty much the same.
These refurbished Fujifilm Finepix AX cameras are just supper good
27 August 2013
Summary: We use these in our Boot Hill Hikers Cemetery Ogling business. We photograph headstones, arrangements, etc. These little cameras work super good for our use. I never buy a new one, always a refurbished one for about 1/4 the cost. At $35 bucks or so, how can you go wrong?
Summary: Had another one just like it which we used so much that it took a beating but still works. Just purchased another one since they have been discontinued and we have it when the old one dies. Seller sent out promptly. Happy with transaction.
Summary: This camera was a complete disaster. I took it to a trip to France. When I bought I did not realize I had to use regular batteries. It was just before my trip so I did not have time to buy a more potent battery. In summary I spent a fortune in batteries. It is slow, when you try to get a good shot it doesn't work, I try to put the photos in the computer, surprise..
Summary: This is my second Fuji FinePix, I purchased one about 5 or 6 years ago. The first and now the 2nd (AX300) outperformed a $400 Canon digital my roommate has. He no longer uses his Canon. Anyway, photos are crisp and clear and that's what you want. It's easy to hold and operate. I highly recommend this camera.
Summary: Like many other folks who gave it 1 star, mine stopped working after several months. The lens would not retract. What makes it annoying is that I was one of those who bought it through HSN for $400.00 when it was released. There was so much hype about the camera because then it was the first point and shoot camera that had more than 10 megapixels.
Summary: I purchases this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She took it on vacation for spring break and it stopped working after a couple of days (lens will not retract). No major abuse to the camera, either. I had a similar problem with a high-end Fuji camera as well but got the lens to work again with a little adjusting. No such luck with this model, it's locked tight.
