Summary: This camera worked OK somewhat for about 18 months. It does have an Autofocus problem. Not always good, especially in close-up mode. Then the power-up started going into error more and more until it errors every time making the camera totally useless. Now JUNK. Cheap camera. Short life.
Summary: I bought this camera around November 2010. I loved it from the beginning and i still LOVE it. It's user friendly, makes good shots (u need to make sure your hands are very stable as u take the pictures). Its very portable and has a really cool housing! Highly recommended.
Double Flashes troublesome, but solid budget camera.

Summary: I bought this last year from Walmart for seventy dollars. Pros: 14 mega, 5x zoom, price, fuji, good audio on videos, durable Cons: double flashes, doesn't zoom very far in video mode (1080 or 720), doesn't always take the best shots Personally, if you can buy a better camera than you should. The thing that really bothers me about the camera is the double flashes - makes for a lot of blinking.
Easy to use even for the electronically challenged.

Excerpt: I have used several different digital cameras belonging to friends and relatives, this is the first one I have purchased for myself. While researching on the internet, this camera popped up on a list of criteria I had for reasonable price, maximum MegaPixels for everyday use, large LCD and maximum zoom again for everyday usage. Adding in all the criteria important to us the cost of this camera and ease of use seemed to beat out others.
Excerpt: have several digital cameras and this one has a 15x zoom and is 16 megapixels with hd movie option great pictures batteries actually last a long while very easy to understand and settings are easy to change have had this for awhile and my son who is 7 has dropped it still works fine has battery bar.
Excerpt: I purchased this little camera and have been using it for quite some time now. This is a very economically wise investment. I was able to buy it for around $50 and must say that it does an excellent job. The picture quality is above all others found at this price range. I have had numerous prints developed from which I used this camera and family members are always satisfied with how amazing the photo's turn out.
Excerpt: After years of searching I finally found the perfect digital camera. Gone are the days of being jealous of everyone else's perfect photos. This compact, lightweight camera from Fujifilm is wonderful. The main thing is that it takes fantastic pictures, but the other features are just as good. From my research, I guess Fuji has high resolution sensors built in that make photos of such great quality.
Summary: I BOUGHT 2 CAMERAS ON NOV 2010 BECAUSE OF ITS PRICE THINKING IT WOULD BE A GOOD CAMERA, SINCE MY EXPERIENCE WITH OUR KODAK WAS A GOOD ONE, I THOUGHT FUJI FILM CAMERA AX250 WOULD FUNCTION PROPERLY, UNFORTUNATELY IT DIDN'T WORK TOO MUCH BEFORE IT BROKE DOWN. IT WON'T TAKE PICTURES. SINCE IT IS UNDER WARRANTY I SENT IT TO BE FIXED, IT ARRIVED TODAY, I REMOVED IT FROM THE BOX AND IT WON'T TAKE ANY PICTURES.SO WE'LL SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN....IF FUJI FILM WILL TAKE GET IT FIXED?
Summary: I purchased this camera mainly for shooting short review videos for products. Since it has 720p HD video recording feature, which works just fine and I get clear videos provided that there is sufficient lighting. The picture quality also depends on lighting and it will be low when shooting indoors in low light conditions. In the outdoors, the pictures are crisp and look great.
Summary: The picture quality I'll admit is not as good as the Canon I was going to replace it with. It still takes good pictures if you know when to use what setting. The HD video isn't as good looking as I had hoped for but it is definitely better than the usual 640 that most camera use. My favorite feature is the panorama picture mode.
