Summary: I brought this camera to carry around on those days I don't want to lug my DSLR around with me. Its use of two AA batteries (pretty much readily available anywhere) and pocketability, made this this the perfect choice. This Fuji has many modes of operation, a 720p HD mode and an ISO range up to 3200! Picture quality is good for a camera at this price point, with sharp central definition and saturated, vibrant colours.
Summary: The camera takes some really good shots if used properly. Zoom is not that good. The HD video recording is finem although its not true hd. And i never had a problem with the video freezing unlike other customers, i use a kingston 4 gb card.
Summary: im brians son, aidan.i bought this camera with my communion money.this is the second camera i ever had.my last sylvania camera broke.i did not break it.i took very good care of it.the fujifilm finepix av100 is great!its easy to use and the pictures are great.i love that it has different picture modes.the only thing i dont like is that the video mode only has a certain amount of time then you have to download it.then you get more video time.the firework mode takes a while...
Summary: I bought this camera as a secondary camera to go along with my 6-year-old Olympus, which still takes great pictures but is too large to fit into a pocket and thus impractical for most casual photo opportunities; you can't carry it around to parties or keep it in your pocket in case something catches your eye, which meant I was taking few pictures overall than I used to.
Summary: Very nice, light and small - easy for a novice - I gave it to my friend who had no experience with the digital camera - and she was up and running in a day. Another plus:cheap AA batteries.Good quality pictures. LCD screen is difficult to see in bright sun. Overall a decent camera for very young as well as much older boys and girls.
If you have any respect for your pictures avoid this...

Summary: I recently purchased this camera on a whim and without doing my homework. The price point was attractive and I figured my prior camera which broke (Fuji F20) was great and with newer camera technology they would probably be similar. Not even close. I don't know any technical jargon so I'll just keep it simple as an everyday-joe using a camera. Functionality-wise it's fine.
If you have never owned a digital camera before.....

Summary: If you have never owned digital camera before, this camera may be perfect for you. It has great ease of use and frankly you cannot beat the price. Now having said that this camera takes awful pictures. I had a canon powershot that was almost 7 years old, in fact it was only a 3.5 megapixel, if that tells you how old.
