Excerpt: This camera is fabulous. When I decided I'd get a digital camera, I went to Best Buy to check them out and was immediately attracted to this one. It's tiny--and I mean it's so flat and small it can fit in my jean's pocket--takes great, high-quality resolution images, has face recognition, takes care of red-eye, has many different flash settings, and--the best part--mine is bright, vivacious crimson. I've had this camera for at least three years.
Excerpt: I use to have this digital camera. It was my first one. I had a dell one before this but it was broken when I opened the box so we returned it and go the Fuji Film one. I took tons of pictures with it and they turned out great. The zoom could be better but it was just a 10.8 so for that size the zoom was good. It did break though. One day I got it out of the case and the zoom was messed up. It wouldn't go in or out so the camera was ruined.
Excerpt: Received a Fine Pix A345 Zoom Digital Camera for Christmas and love it. It is so lightweight and convienient. I can put it in my pocket, purse or a carrier. The pictures come out very clear and are easy to download to the computer with a USB cord.
Excerpt: This camera takes great pictures! it is nice and portable and has a nice slick design. I like the shiny exterior and the ease of use. It is quick to download pictures to the computer and had a nice view screen to review pictures. This is a reasonably priced camera and would even make a good gift for someone. This is a good camera for a person who is new to the whole digital era.
Excerpt: This is a nice camera, and it will get the job done. However, if you have active children...you may want to re-think your digital camera purchase. I just never feel like it is fast enough. Of course, I will admit...I was using it at race tracks, motorcyle and clay oval tracks. However, it seems as though every time I try to sneak up on my two year old, she is quicker than the camera too! It does take nice pictures...when you can catch them.
Excerpt: I've had this camera for a couple years and have been very happy with it. The quality of pictures is great, the movie function is quite good for a digital camera, and it's very easy to use. There are a few negatives. It is frustrating that many of the settings on the camera are not described anywhere in the manual, and some of the things that are described aren't explained very well.
Summary: I don't know if this is an issue with all A345's or just mine, but this camera has a serious focus problem. More than half of the pictures that I take are out of focus. This includes macro pictures. It seems that the closer the subject is, the more out of focus the image is likely to be. I take a lot of close up pictures for my Ebay listings and this was supposed to be a workhorse replacement for my A205 2 megapixel camera.
