Summary: The A170 I that got from my dad, who bought it several years ago (2009?), does not indicate anywhere that it is a "Finepix" but it looks exactly the same as the photo of the camera here (including specs below lens). I just returned from a trip to Arizona, where I used this camera for the first time.

Summary: Solid Camera. Awesome that it runs off 2 AAs. Decent camera for the price. Don't expect insane options since this is a fairly cheap (in terms of price) camera. I also traveled to Harbin, China, where the temps were around -25 C or -15 F in the daytime, and the camera would not function or open after...
Summary: This was my first camera. If you want to learn about basic digital cameras or you just take pictures of your vacations, I would recommend this Finepix. This is a good start camera. It's affordable, cheap & does what it's worth.
Summary: I purchased this camera Thanksgiving of 2009. I shot around 400 pictures with it. Slowly but surely the zoom lens stopped working. I went to a lot of trouble to ship it to FujiFilm. They found a few specks of sand in it and said that voided the warranty.
Summary: This little camera is great for me. It is easy to use and connect for uploading. The battery feature is appealing for me, meaning I don't have to rely on an electrical outlet. I always keep a couple batteries with me for back up emergency. I am very happy with the picture quality for my needs.
Summary: I bought two of these as gifts for a couple of children. I really couldn't tell you how they are working out for them. Nobody has said anything about them not working, so I assume they are doing fine.
Summary: It is cheap, makes good photos, and is easy to use. Wah lah.. perfect gift for a mother in law who is not so savy with new technology and controlling SLR's so to speak. So at the end of the day it was well worth the buy and has held up well!
