Summary: I had this camera for approximately 1 year, and literally took over 5000 pictures with it, with absolutely NO PROBLEMS. I used rechargeable Duracell batteries, and only had to recharge them maybe every 300 photos or so. Great MACRO function for close-up photos. Only reason I sold mine is because I upgraded to a 12MP. Highly recommended!
Summary: the camera seems to work perfectly I haven't had any trouble with it, the only thing that I don't like is the fact that it uses alot of battery power, I have rechargables that only last through about 20 or so pics before they need to be recharged.
Excerpt: I never had a decent digital camera of my own. Every time I got one my husband took it to work and of course they get beaten up. I finally got frustrated and went to Wal*Mart to buy myself a new camera.
Summary: A complete change - now its ONE star for the product, albeit that it was was delivered quickly and well-packaged. Again, minimal product info provided by Amazon (compare with Misco's product descriptions). OK, I may have missed it in the Amazon blurb, but I expected a rechargeable battery (it's AA batteries - see below). That's a major aspect in choosing such products - either Amazon didn't mention it, or shuffled it away in some dark corner small print..?
Summary: I bought this camera as a present for my wife who wanted something simple she could 'point & shoot'. It seems to take reasonable photos but really gobbles up batteries in the process. After 13 months and very little use, it broke down. I assume that the guarantee is 12 months but so far I have been unable to contact anybody at what is jokingly called 'customer services' as nobody bothers to answer the phone.
Summary: Bought this camera for my 11 year old son. He finds it very easy to use and it has all the functions he needs. He recently took pictures and video of a firework display which came out really well. A lovely compact camera that does everything and yet is very inexpensive to buy. I have no regrets and cannot fault it.
Summary: An excellent modestly priced small (easily slipped into pocket) digital camera which produces excellent results. I used mine recently at 2 parties in conjunction with my larger S9500 and was very pleased with its performance.

Excerpt: When you are accustomed to using cameras that run into thousands of pounds, it is very difficult to review a camera like this without instantly looking for negatives and pointing out what it doesn’t have. Rather than doing that, let’s try and concentrate on what it does have – and for such an inexpensive camera, I was quite surprised with some of the features.
Summary: Excellent & easy to use. The 2.7" LCD is great & pictures are of a good quality. Have had varous makes of digital camera & personally for ease of use I like the Fuji best of all. This camera is not for the advanced photographer but is great for anyone who just wants to take quick, clear, basic photos. Also very reasonable price.
