Great pocket camera
25 October 2014
Summary: Great pocket camera. Fuji's EXR does some weird stuff to backgrounds, but with a 20X optical zoom on a camera that you can carry anywhere, how can you complain too much? Metering works well, zoom is very sharp and color...well, it's from the best film company. They should know color and they prove it.
Summary: Many great features. Camera takes excellent pictures. It is intuitive to use. The flash unit must be manually popped up before it will activate. I missed a couple shots because I set the camera to flash, but failed to pop up the flash unit. That is the only downside to the camera. It fits in my pocket and yet has a nice 20X zoom. An excellent value for the price. .Pdf owners manual is thorough.
Summary: i read lots of reviews on this camera and they claim the sensor size on a camera in this price range is very range at 16mb. I have used it a lot so far in low light inside and it auto pics iso 1600, the pics are pretty descent but a little grainy. they claim the best pics are at iso400 or lower. I think the pics are crips at 1600 but you will need to adjust contrast and reduce noise with noise filter. I use Noiseware.
Summary: Briefly: The resultant pictures are pretty good. I use the EXR mode, but I can't really say if the super-duper EXR features deserve credit for the quality or not. My typical use is doing candid pictures at a party from across the (reasonably well lit) room, and it seems very good for that purpose. I chose the camera (in part) because of the IS mode to counteract ones hands shaking.
Summary: I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews on this product, and wondering if the folks who had problems somehow landed with defective models. My experience has been pretty flawless from day one. I bought this camera as an add-on to my usual DSLR; I was looking for a pocket-sized camera with a great zoom (this one had markedly better range than other pocket cameras I tested) and a nice variety of auto, semi-auto, and manual features to play with.
Summary: I've taken a zillion exposure-bracketed pictures (for subsequent HDR merging) and videos with this little guy and it's been great. It's certainly not perfect, but given the price, I have no regrets. The zoom is outrageously noisy when recording video and the autofocus during zooming is terrible, but I still consider this a great deal and keep it with me at all times.
Summary: Shipping was very prompt! Packaged well. Camera is great. Still trying to figure out all its nuisances. The pop up flash is a little scary for using out at the clubs at night. One drop and that puppy will break off.....
Pros: Design,Sensore EXR,Zoom,velocita' messa a fuoco e accensione,schermo
Cons: come tutte : Iso automatici sempre troppo alti
