Stylish-looking camera, but the photo & video quality is poor
21 February 2014
Summary: I used to love Fuji cameras. My first digital camera was a Fuji A205 2 MP camera and it still takes decent photos. Not this one....and yes, maybe I received a defective camera, but I don't think I did. Build quality is great. I happen to love manual flashes and you can bounce this one off the ceiling if you wish. Although I don't know how long it would hold up if this was done often. The zoom motor sounds strong and responsive. I got the white and it's beautiful.
Summary: Many great features. Camera takes excellent pictures. It is intuitive to use. The flash unit must be manually popped up before it will activate. I missed a couple shots because I set the camera to flash, but failed to pop up the flash unit. That is the only downside to the camera. It fits in my pocket and yet has a nice 20X zoom. An excellent value for the price. .Pdf owners manual is thorough.
Summary: We find FinePix cameras to be exceptional quality and excellent value. My wife loves the multi-frame feature for taking action shots of her granddaughter. One shot is always perfect regardless of wiggles, blinks or other movement that ruined pictures with her single shot camera.
Summary: i read lots of reviews on this camera and they claim the sensor size on a camera in this price range is very range at 16mb. I have used it a lot so far in low light inside and it auto pics iso 1600, the pics are pretty descent but a little grainy. they claim the best pics are at iso400 or lower. I think the pics are crips at 1600 but you will need to adjust contrast and reduce noise with noise filter. I use Noiseware.
Summary: Man I love this Camera, Starting with the Price.. and then I like the easy way it is to set up..and then I saw the Pictures Which are very nice.. I got this camera for a work camera but it is so much more in what it can do.. And I love how easy it is to adjust... I have never have to pick up a manual fpor this... and It is Fast too No delay in the picture once you click it. like on some others in its classs like Nikon I hate to say which is slow...
