Summary: This is the second S100fs I've bought; I love this camera that much. FujiFilm really outdid themselves with this one. It may be a little dated by 2014 standards, but for the advanced amateur photographer, It does everything you could really want. If I had to come up with a con for this, it would be the microphone for video capturing; If you want decent audio, invest in an extenal mic. Other than that, it's the bee's knees.
Summary: We ordered this camera for our son, he needed it for school. Of course, our son tells us last second that he needed this camera for class less than a week. To our surprise we got this camera so quickly. He got the camera in time for his class thankfully. All information described for this camera was accurate and we are satisfied with our purchase. I would order from them again and I highly recommend them to everyone.
Summary: Very compact and versatile photo machine. As with all my cameras, I go straight to manual mode to run it through it's paces. The stabilized Super zoom is great. A sleight amount of barrel distortion and Heavy compression exists yet is workable. WB and ISO over 800 could use improvements. I still might get the Panasonic fz200 for low light shots.
Summary: Waited until the price dropped and am very happy with the value. Amazing photo quality for a bridge camera. Love the external controls. Very comfortable to hold. Not too heavy. I am looking forward to going on an outing with it! It just arrived today and I am not disappointed that I waited 5 years to enjoy this camera. :). It was worth it.
Excerpt: The reason I bought the Fujifilm FinePix S100fs camera is it has a fixed lens with a large zoom range. Therefore there is no need to change / carry an extra lens with you. Also there is less chance of dust or dirt getting into the camera. I have used Fujifilm cameras before, which made it easier for me to learn the new features. I absolutely enjoy the S100fs camera!
To save the cost of SLR lenses,Great image quality than other megazoom.

Summary: Great ISO.1600 usable.3200 and up depends upon conditions.Versatile lens with strong zoom and image stabilization.Neutral to bright and sharp colors.Good flash.Nice ergonomics.Easy menu.BUT heavy.Automatic mode works perfect.Potraits and macros are amzing.More than a point and shoot.Bridge between point & shoot and DSLR.Sensor size is 2\3 which is great for low light and night snap shots.Actually, did i say excellent?
Summary: Just about any shot you can take with a dslr camera you can take with the S100FS. I took courses at a local camera shop and at the local community college and my instructors were amazed. Much more powerful than the hs10. All the bells and whistles of just about any canon, sony, or nikon. Only lacking a wider range for the apenditure. Other than that, I take pictures like the pros!
