Epson Rangefinder R-D1xG

The Epson Rangefinder R-D1xG is a digital camera with a 2.5 inch TFT colour liquid crystal (230K) display that captures 6.1 effective mega pixel of still photos. It has a 23.7 mm × 15.6 mm APS-C size CCD sensor (primary color filter), indicators for picture quality setting, white balance setting, space storage remaining, and battery life remaining. It captures up to 3008×2000 pixel resolution for CCD-RAW-12bit and 3008×2000 pixel / 2240×1488 pixel resolution for JPEG file format. The camera supports up to 2 GB SD and up to 32 GB SDHC memory card. It has a shutter speed up to 1/2000 seconds, ISO setting up to 1600, and comes bundled with Private lithium ion battery pack (EPALB1), charger and power cord/code for charger, specially made handgrip and neck strap, instruction manual, lens cover and EPSON Photolier (Windows®/Macintosh private CCD-RAW development application) and requires connectivity to a PC with Windows XP/Vista or Mac OS X (v10.4 or v1.05). The camera measures 142.0 × 88.5 × 39.5 mm and weighs 570 g.

Features

The Epson Rangefinder R-D1xG simultaneously captures in RAW and JPEG picture format. It also features three modes that adjust automatically to the ambient scene that is being captured – Portrait mode, Landscape mode and night scene mode. The R-D1xG also features in-camera photo effects, saturation adjustment, sharpening effect, colour/contrast/brightness adjustment as well as noise reduction adjustment. It also enables users to capture photos in monochrome. The camera also features long exposure noise reduction function, and up to 16 x optical zoom.
