Casio QV R61

  • Excerpt: Casio QV R61 Info I purchased this camera at Christmas 2006, it cost me £150. This is an excellent camera with 6.0 mega pixels. The picture quality is amazing although when you transfer the image from your camera to your computer the images are quite big in size, although the bigger the size the better quality it should be. Casio Casio is a well known brand, Casio has made many cameras although I think that this one has topped them all.
  • Pros: Good quality, good zoom, SD card slot
  • Cons: battery life pretty poor, no case

EXCELLENT - COMPACT EASY TO USE

pipje, Ciao

  • Excerpt: I bought this camera on a promotion at £199 complete with case and memory card. I found it very easy to use and was amazed at the quality of the pictures. I have used it a lot - as I take 2 cruises a year and take lots of pictures, also I have a 2 year old grand Daughter who I take a lot of pitures of, and as I said above the only negative thing is a few of my pictures in artifical light have been a little on the dark side, but this can be rectified if you can brighten...
  • Pros: Very compact camera, easy to use with excellent quality photographs, with a varied extensive mode to use when taking pictures
  • Cons: Sometimes when taking flash photographs in artificial light the pictures can be a little on the dark side

  • Excerpt: It was in the Christmas Sales of 2004/2005 that I bought the Casio QV R61 Digital Camera. At that time there was a special deal going on where you could buy the camera, get a free 256mb memory card and a camera case for free for only £230 which I thought was a real bargain! If you're anything like me, you get really confused with all the different cameras that's available to buy but after only reading only a little about this camera I was convinced it was the camera for...
  • Pros: Chic, sexy and compact
  • Cons: none -  I love everything about it

Fuji F810 - super.
