  • Excerpt: Looking to upgrade my digital camera, I found this camera on sale, sold as a Casio QV-R62. At first I was hesitant to purchase it as it was a 6 megapixel camera with 3x Optical zoom for about $300 CDN - it seemed too cheap for a 6mp camera.

  • Excerpt: An electronics store in Toronto had this camera on sale at a very reasonable price. Based only on the price and some sample shots produced by the camera posted by someone else on dpreview, I decided to buy the camera.

  • Excerpt: It was in the Christmas Sales of 2004/2005 that I bought the Casio QV R61 Digital Camera. At that time there was a special deal going on where you could buy the camera, get a free 256mb memory card and a camera case for free for only £230 which I thought was a real bargain!
  • Pros: Chic, sexy and compact
  • Cons: none -  I love everything about it

  • Summary: I have gotten this camera for Xmass and the reason why I am selling it at the moment is cause I got two of them. This camera is a great value for the money. It has great sharp pictures with 6.0 megapixel. Up to 280 still images can be taken on a single battery charge.
