Good for not caring

Overstock

  • Summary: If you want a small camera that you can fit in your pocket or purse and take good quality images without paying a lot this is perfect for you. I had the 6.2 mp version a long time ago and it worked perfectly for 2 years untill the shutter wouldn't open (other people I knew had the same problem). I then swithced to the Sony from the Aerosmith comercial, which I loved for the lense and features and would reccomend if you are looking to pay more.

Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 Digital Camera

  • Summary: We recently purchased a Casio Exilim, after reading the great reviews on-line. While it is a nice little camera, with many handy features, includng an exceptionally large display screen, it was missing one rather important feature for me - a view finder! The vast majority of pictures that we take are outdoors, often in bright light. From mountains for distant scenes, to close-ups of flowers, etc.

  • Summary: Exilim z1080! great digital camera!!! pretty pocket camera! Loved the material! is a little heavier than other digital cameras, but that's because of the material! metal! and I like that! gives the camera an stylish look! and of course it's way resistant! It has a lot of modes that are very handy! PROS: - Beautiful camera - Pretty slim and small - Big LCD - Resolution! 10.1 effective pixels - Mic and speaker - Battery life! AMAZING!

user review

  • Summary: great camera. i mostly take pics of people and this has a really fast response speed for a digital so you tend to get the pic you saw when you pushed the button. good quality of pic as well and a nice clear viewscreen on the back. The menu is a lot more intuitive and user friendly than the nikon i had before.

Great little camera

  • Summary: I opted for this after seeing it on the Gadget Show website. It's a fantastic little camera - robust and easy to use with a fabulous big screen on the back for previewing images. I found the menus intuitive to navigate which is handy as I hate reading the instruction books! The only drawback is the 3 x optical zoom, other than that a fab little point and shoot camera.

Easy to use and relatively cheap

Tom H, Amazon
20 August 2008
  • Summary: I bought this camera to use on a recent holiday. It was very easy to use as it had a 'Best shot' function where you select what conditions you are shooting in e.g. sunlight, portrait, landscape etc. and it adjusts the camera settings so you get the best picture in those conditions. The controls are very simple and photos are easily uploaded onto your computer via USB and the 'drag and drop' system.
