Not Great.

lee bee, Amazon
6 July 2008
  • Summary: I have owned the Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 for a long while now, and am not really satisfied. I'll list the pros and cons below: Pros: It looks nice. (The outward appearance is very stylish and smart looking) It has a large screen. It takes decent movies.

OK but falls short - returned mine

RJ, Amazon
12 November 2007
  • Summary: This camera is ok, but not worth it. 1st off 10 mega pixles is useless unless you're printing posters, so don't buy into that hype. The camera takes forever to cycle so you wind up missing shots. The night shooting isn't that great, and quite grainy.

Casio skimped on workmanship & quality! Stick with the EX-Z1000.

  • Summary: I have never written a review before but I felt so compelled to warn everybody about this camera as compared to it's predecessor the EX-Z1000. They are essentially the exact same camera but with 2 very key differences. The first difference is that the EX-Z1000 is an all metal encased camera.

Lame. Step backwards for Casio.

Todd K., Newegg
24 April 2007
  • Summary: Wish they had more pictures for this thing so I could have noticed that first. Oh well - my fault for not doing my homework.
  • Pros: Camera itself is nice. Easy to understand controls - fairly inexpensive.
  • Cons: What a step backwards for Casio! I've owned 3 of these cameras now, and this is the only one I am completely and shockingly disatisfied with. Every other Casio that I've owned has come with a cradle to charge the camera in, and to put the camera in to retrieve pictures. The cradle is very conveni...

  • Excerpt: I've had this camera for 2 weeks now and dropped it once. Every other camera I've had that I've dropped has still functioned. Now the LCD screen is broken and the camera cannot focus. I expect better quality housing for a camera the Casio sales person.

  • Summary: Bought the camera as a gift, camera is fine but paid for gift wrapping and also a card. No card and no wrapping, dissapointed with this as I could have got it cheaper and faster on e bay.

  • Summary: This camera isn't too bad while it's working. I bought it to replace its 8 megapixel predecessor, as this had started playing up just under a year after buying it (the screen had stopped working completely).

Tolles Design - Miese Bilder

Herr Krause, Amazon
28 March 2008

H. Karl, Amazon
21 March 2008
  • Summary: Schade!
