Summary: Worked as expected - Still working! At the time I bought this camera, it was a little better than average for options. Since, I has pretty much been a work horse. Now after a few years use, it is starting to have issues with the lens moving in and out. Maybe a cleaning and lube is needed. Worked much better than the Nikon of the similar variety.
Summary: I have had 3 of these now and if I would not drop them I would not have had so many. Easy to operate without reading all the guide book. The eBay picture mode is what sold me on this model years ago. Now I have to replace them on the secondary market as I don't want to change to another camera.
Summary: My wife has one of these cameras and was very pleased with the ease of use and performance. I wanted one for my use but didn't want to pay the list price. This was discounted and was like new when I received it. Totally pleased with the purchase.
Excerpt: I was on the hunt for a good quality camera that takes high resolution pictures which can be blown up to poster sized. I really enjoy the point & clickability of the Casio Exilim and it's so small it stays in my bag all the time. The only things I would change about the camera are: more built-in memory (it will really only take about 5 pictures without a memory card), less waiting time in between taking pictures and eventhough it is small, it would be great for it to...
Excerpt: I had an older version of this camera, and had accidently spilled nail polish remover in my purse while my camera was in there and needless to say, that camera was ruined. I was dissapointed, because that camera had never disapointed me. I found this version of the Casio Exilim and bought it, paying a little more than I wanted, but talked myself into it. It has been a pretty good camera but I just don't think the picture comes out very clear for being 10.1 mgpx.
Exilim EX-Z1050 - Awesome as a Point & Shoot, doesn't match DSLR
9 September 2012
Excerpt: Overview: I purchased a Exilim EX-Z1050 around Christmas 2007, and really loved the features packaged with the camera. With a large screen, high megapixel count and compact size, it was a great buy. I'm a bit of an amateur photographer, but it's a just a fancy more than a hobby. However, that said, I must remind anyone looking for a camera that if you expect the quality photos you see from professional photographers, you'll have to dish out the money for a DSLR (Digital...
Excerpt: how can i start with this. well i guess i have to thank my mom for buying it for me because she knows i love taking pictures specially when i go out with friends. i do go to concerts alot so i needed a high quality, inexpensive camera and what better than this, the zoom power in the Casio is the best! very clear pictures and the sound is incredible for concerts, it sounds amazing.
Excerpt: I expected this camera to be a little smaller, but it is still light and small enough for a 10.1 mp camera. The lcd screen is large and clear, and the buttons are easy to figure out without reading the manual, as I never have and probably never will. I kind of wish there was a video feature, but for the price I love this camera.
Excerpt: i really enjoy using this casio exilim ex z1050 digital camera. the only down side is that it doesn't take good night pictures. i tried talking to a friend who works at ritz for help, but he didn't know much about this model. it is very easy to use and the owner manual explains everything you need to know.
Excerpt: I use my Casio Exilim all the time and it works great! For the price, I think you get a compact, easy to use camera that takes quality pictures. It fits in my pocket and I can take it anywhere because it's failry small. It's not as small as some of the other cameras out there but I think it's small enough to go just about anywhere. When I first purchased the camera I spent about 30 minutes checking out all of the features and buttons.
