Excerpt: I received the Casio Exilim EX-Z1000 digital camera over three and a half years ago as a wedding gift from my hubby. He purchased this camera for me because he had the 6 mega pixel version and I loved it. This camera is really amazing! It has 10.1 mega pixels, has a large screen, and is easy to use. This camera accepts the standard SD card, which is great. When I've been on trips and run out of memory, it's always easy to switch out the card that I've been using for...
Excerpt: My husband bought me this camera for mothers day. I immediately fell in love with it. First of all it is very compact and easily slips into a pocket or purse. This takes very high quality digital videos and pictures. The interface is very easy to get around on. It is very easy to transfer pictures to your computer for storage. The battery life is great!
Small and compact but with a large LCD screen for older eyes.

Excerpt: I purchase my Casio digital camera about 11 months ago. Since then I have purchased two more for family members. We like the compactness of the camera and the large viewing LCD screen. It takes really great pictures and short videos. It's fairly easy to use but would have been nice if the owners manual would have come with it. I don't have time to look at the CD when I'm trying to take pictures and change settings.
Summary: Bought this camera approx. 3 years ago. Really like this point and shoot digiatl camera. It also has a lot of extra features and functions. Continous high speed shots-worth mentioning. Taken numerous pictures in day light/room light/night light. The results are good. Camera dropped on carpet floor accidentally; picked it up, turned it on/off: still working good. Holds good battery power, easy to use, very compact/sleek. No porblems so far.
Casio EX-Z1000, been a great camera for two years.

Summary: This Christmas brought much joy to our home. One of my favorite new gifts was a brand new digital camera, (Canon Power-shot SX200 IS which I will write a separate review on) which is replacing my much loved Casio Exlim EX-Z1000 which I have owned for almost two years. Of course this is leading to a rave review of the EX-Z1000 but please note that I am only replacing it for a newer unit with better ISO and Macro Features. The Exlim is still a Rock Star in my book.
Overall this is a great camera, very, very easy to use.

Summary: This was a fine camera, purchased by my daughter and her husband for my birthday. I absentmindedly left it at an ATM in Prague, and it was gone when I returned to try to recover it a few minutes later. I recently purchased the identical camera through Amazon, partly because I was happy with it the first time, but especially to show the kids that their gift was not unappreciated.
