Summary: This is my second Casio EX-Z1000. It has been a great "pocket camera" for carrying with me for spontaneous photo opportunities. I lost my first camera during a trip and insisted on obtaining an identical Casio. I have taken in excess of 10,000 photos with my camera and have purchased an after-market underwater camera housing for capturing images of all types of sea life.

Summary: Being a long time digital SLR user, heck I even had a Nikon D100. I was extremely reluctant to purchase a non-SLR digital camera. But I must say this casio changed my mind. Pros: Small, light weight, large LCD, works with 4GB SHDC card Great pictures, resolution is amazing Color is better than I expected Paid $209 from Dell Video feature is fun Comments: Camera cannot make up for your lack of photo skills Images are blurry if you shoot to slow during shots with movement...
Summary: At first I thought my husband paid to much, but as I fiddled with the camera, I found so many options for digital use! I have had so many people wish their camera did what this beauty does. I am just starting out, but I love this camera. I think I may have swayed a few people to purchase one on their own. An amazing camera with great results.
Pros: Comfortable Controls, Easy Setup, Easy to Keep Clean, Strong Construction
Summary: I have not had the camera long enough to make a complete analysis of the noise or mp quality, but so far it has taken some GREAT pics. It has great settings; however, I think the camera was made to teach you how tweek the settings, too. If you are interested in learning the basics of how to work a digital camera beyond pointing and shooting, this is a great camera for you. They make it simple.
Pros: Accurate Colors, Great Resolution, Nice Features and Settings, Rugged, Simple Controls
Summary: This is a stylish little camera easy to carry and use. If you are not too picky about the IQ it is a great choice. But if you compare with other brands, you will see the it falls short on IQ especially on the noise control even at low ISO level. That says if you never print picture more than 5x7, it is great camera to get.
Pros: Accurate Colors, Great Resolution, Nice Features and Settings
Summary: I have used the camera heavily over the past four weeks in good, bad and marginal lighting conditions. I am very pleased with the picture quality and the ease of access to the numerous pre-set picture modes. The LCD is huge and visible in all lighting situations. The flash is powerful and well modulated in different situations.
