Still an Industry Anomaly as of Sept. 2014!

NapoleonOfTheNow "NSB", Amazon
15 September 2014
  • Summary: This camera is the industry anomaly! As of September 2014, the discontinued Casio Exilim EX-F1 still has better performance than Casio's newest high-speed engine 3 cameras. This camera also beats out all other competitors like the Nikon 1 series cameras among other brands. I have also purchased, used, and sold my Edgertronic camera, still preferring the Casio Exilim EX-F1. The Edgertronic's image quality being very disappointing for the price.

Fun Camera

Steve, Amazon
22 May 2011
  • Summary: This camera is just plain fun. It may not be of the highest quality that some may like, but it sure is fun. I think most people can figure out how to work it with out a manual. I have seen a lot of reviews both good and bad. Overall I have had much fun using it and If your thinking of getting it for the high speed purpose of it, well then after a little experimenting, I'm sure you will have fun with it also.

Excellent slow motion camera, ok photos

Adam D. Shomsky, Amazon
27 November 2008
  • Summary: Length:: 1:46 Mins I bought this camera mainly for the high speed video capability, and I have not been disappointed. This camera's high speed video capabilities are far and away the best you can buy in this price range. In fact, I don't think there is anything on the market right now that can match these abilities even if you were willing to pay 2 or 3 times the price of the EX-F1.

Amazing technological advance

Joel, Amazon
3 October 2008
  • Summary: This camera is outrageously good. I've never been able to get the perfect picture before. The speed at which you can capture full resolution pictures makes taking perfect shots very easy. This camera is ideal for capturing fast action. Since it will literally take pictures several seconds before you push the shutter button. It is ideal for almost any situation: waterskiing, children's funny faces, capturing the perfect sports action shots, etc.

Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 Digital Camera

  • Summary: Re: Empty's claim that the resolution is too low at full 1200 fps: Le duh, it'll be like another five years until that technology becomes feasible; that full six-MP photos might be captured at 1200 fps is a little much to ask of any camera anyone could make today. Meanwhile, the rest of the world is fully content to use the 300 fps movie mode as seen on YouTube or the unprecedented 60 fps burst mode which surpasses even the highest end pro cameras such as the Canon Eos...

There is no consumer camera with this characteristics

O. Martinez, Amazon
26 October 2013
  • Summary: This a high speed camera, the best digital SLR for that purpose. This camera can record video up to 1200 frames per second. It is not done at full resolution, but for improving technique in sports (e.g. golf, cricket, bowling) and other activities (e.g. piano, skateboard) is the best as: - It is a portable solution. - It has MANUAL EXPOSURE CONTROL which reduces blurring when recording at high speed.
