Excellent choice for great outdoor and decent indoor photos

Summary: I bought this camera based on Consumer Reports reviews that ranked it as a top pick. I was looking for something reliable, light weight, with a good telephoto that would take fast sports shots in low light settings. It does not do so well indoors with sports shot and the telephoto is practically useless in sports mode, though takes great landscape and pretty decent wildlife shots with the telephoto and the backlight features and nature features all work great if you want...
Summary: If you have a camera in your phone do you need a separate camera? Most days the important thing is to have a camera with you when you need to grab a quick shot to post on FB or to capture an unusual moment. You probably wouldn't leave your home naked or leave without your phone so you probably have one camera with you at all times. Why do you need a second camera? The Casio Exilim EX-ZS5 is a REAL Camera!
Summary: I carried one through Afghan & Uzbek in 03 04 & 05. This new model is so much better in photo/movie reproduction...more piczels. Hand concealable. Carried on my belt its always available when needed. It does what it needs to do, is reasonably priced too.
Summary: It's compact and easy to carry. Pictures are clear however it has a very long delay after you push the button. Unless you are taking posing pictures you will miss the shot you are aiming to get.
Summary: Nothing wrong with the camera at all. Decent functions for a small pocket camera that you can slip in your shirt pocket. Nice. I like it. Takes a nice photo. However, imagine that you are in paradise...a Greek Island (7 postal days from Athens), or the Valley of the Kings in Egypt (where postal delivery is questionable), or even outside the gates of Disney Florida, where I am now. We have electricity, we have computers...what could possibly go wrong?
Summary: This was purchased as a replacement for a EXLIM EX-Z600 which had served me well until it dropped and the latch for the battery door got damaged. I expected this 12MP camera to provide photos a lot better than the 6MP ones from the Z600 but I don't see much difference. The movie button is a great improvement over the Z600 where I had to navigate a menu to change from still to movie.
Summary: Takes great pics!! I love that it is easy to take a video but my favorite feature is being able to choose the Best Shot modes. The macro mode is ideal when I'm taking close ups of the children at work. The size is perfect too, I can hang it on my wrist or put it in my pocket! This is my third Casio Exilim!!
Summary: Great little camera that didn't break the bank. I use the camera appraising real estate and on average I take 50 pictures a day. I bought this camera because I had gotten such great service out of a previous Casio Exilm (5mp) camera. With my wife working in the business I needed another. I've used the camera for several weeks now and am not disappointed.
Summary: A decent price and great vendor but I bought it on the name Casio. Easy to use and in fact this would be my 3rd Casio. And my last one. Every new iteration seems to lose picture quality or has such a long shutter delay making it difficult to get the shot you want. The anti shake feature actually seems counter productive. I liked the very first EXLIM with the optical view finder the best. The flash and overall shot quality has been greatly diminished from that version.
